@ElderofSmoke

I first want to know if it's fully on disc. If it is, I'll pick it up in the near future.

Valor Mortis’s premise and gameplay design is right up my alley. It looks decent to be fair. @IkariX, are you picking up a copy?

Must-have physicals for me are - can be on any platform, but I'd buy these the moment they're announced:

End of Abyss
Phantom Blade Zero
The Drifter
Mina the Hollower
Look Outside
Silver Pines
No Rest for the Wicked

@Cathal

That's a bummer. I might give it a pass then. As much as I love Metro, this is just dumb

Their feedback on someone asking if the game will be on disc:

"METRO 2039 will require an initial download as the game does not fit fully on one disc. To make sure our community gets to experience the game at the same time, you will need an internet connection initially to unlock the game. The game does not otherwise require internet."

Man from U.N.C.L.E - I enjoyed it, my old man Liked it too. Had a pretty spot on reproduction of his old ship HMS Victorious.

Pain and Gain - good dark comedy, bit long. Truth stranger than fiction. Victim was found guilty of $14million of Medical aid fraud (not in film).

Took my dad to see Force Awakens. Despite someone ruining a pivotal plot point in his Facebook feed last week, he really enjoyed it. If my dad liked it, it must be good.

Batman (1966) - was pretty [censored] dreadful. Catwoman was hot though. Batmobile was pretty cool too.

I still think the show is pretty cool. But then I did grow up on it.

I loved the show too way back then, surprised about how much I hated this film. Fast forwarded the last half. Blu-ray transfer is superb too.

Bloodsucking Bastards - Pretty poor corporate vampire horror/comedy. The blood-soaked ending was pretty cool though.

The Last Witch Hunter - Another comic book adaptation. Total popcorn fare that could have been so much better.

Inherent Vice - don't know what to say, I read you have to watch it twice to appreciate it. Will do but only as it is a PT Anderson film.

The Force Awakens.
Even though it does take me back to New Hope. I just don't know how I feel about this film. I do not want to say to much, as to not spoil the movie for anybody else, but something just feels wrong with this movie.

Artificial. Manufactured. Fan fiction. Just some of the words I would use.

On leave at home so been a real couch potato and watched lots of movies so far these last 2 weeks

New stuff:
Steve Jobs - Pretty good. Wasn't what I was expecting. They showed a very human side to his story. 7/10
Star Wars: The Force Awakens - I enjoyed this a lot. Watched it at iMax (first time there and it was freaking amazing). They played the nostalgia card a lot in this. I am not a super Star Wars fan and even I noticed all the fan service. Not sure if that annoyed the super fans or not. All in all it was a good movie and I look forward to the next one. 8/10

Older stuff:

American Sniper
Anchorman 2
Centurion
Cinderella
Crimson Peak
Dracula Untold
Edge of Tomorrow
Everything Must Go
Far from the Madding Crowd
Frank
Jane Eyre
John Wick
Pan
Pride and Prejudice
The Beaver
The Giant Mechanical Man
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1
The Walk
Tracks
Wonder Woman Animated

The Big Short - Adaptation of the Michael Lewis book about the guys who not only foresaw the financial crisis, but who profited off of it by shorting sub-prime securitisation financial instruments. This film is a semi-fictional account in that Ryan Gosling and Co act as both narrator and character and often break the fourth wall to talk directly to the audience. It's a conceit that doesn't QUITE work, but the film makes the financial gobbledygook understandable.

A good film if you are interested in this stuff or if you just want to see how stupid, greedy and amoral easy money can make people.

Runaway Jury, for the first time in a long while. Excellent stuff. Stelliferous cast. Even after having seen it several times, and knowing the reveals... just so enjoyable.

Ocean's Eleven and Ocean's Twelve. These have to rank in the top 100 films of all time. We need more Brad Pitt opposite George Clooney.

Pixels - game over at 32 minutes.

Romeo + Juliet (1996) - only managed 5 minutes the first time, this time 20 minutes. Progress.

Casa de Mi Padre - very brave/stupid to do a mainstream parody of telenovela in actual Spanish. Would have worked better as a series of SNL sketches but I still enjoyed it. Will Ferrel is superb.
