Why? As long as it is good, and SHIELD improved markedly after Winter Soldier and into S2, Agent Carter is amazing and DD was awesome, it shouldn't matter if ABC eventually becomes the Marvel network. A good show is a good show whether attached to a shared universe or not.

We will be back to watching CSI Miami Reboot, CSI Dip[censored] County, A Team on Mars (wait that sounds cool) and lord knows what else. I disagree, if the shows are good people will watch. After spending $4bn on Marvel I don't see Disney dumping them ever. They didn't with the Muppets who languished under Disney for years only recently gaining some success. Heck the main Disney characters are hardly in anything anymore and Disney has kept them around. Disney makes more money from merch than shows and films and MCU characters are infinitely sell-able to kids

Just checked Disney's revenue streams, less than 25% of their revenue now comes from studios and merchandise sales (only ~ $11 Billion).

I think you will reach a certain level of market over-saturation where people will lose interest in superhero shows or movies. They'll stop watching for awhile and then we will have one or two shows coming out every now and then before an amazing movie or show reignites the flame.

They will bleed it dry, until it does not make them anymore $$$
