VideoVengeance enjoyed Deadly Tower of Monsters for it's low-budget, B-movie stylings -
https://www.awx.co.za/nexus/the-deadly-tower-of-monsters.html

I'd recommend giving Everybodys Gone to Rapture a try seeing as it's free. The Chinese Room is not known for their action packed games but they do write incredible stories. It's slow enough to frustrate but - over about 5-6 hours - weaves together a ton of characters into a rather interesting ending sequence. It's also ridiculously pretty.

Gave a few of the PlayStation Plus games a try last night and so far I am really enjoying what is on offer this month.

Drawn To Death

I just played the tutorial, so there is still alot of game that awaits me, but so far I am sold on this game. The gameplay is fun and I can already see how frantic multiplayer will be when I give it a try. For an art style that I really did not enjoy when looking at trailers, the sketch art actually really works well with the world of the game, with alot of things and characters looking very crude (almost vulgar at points.) Which makes sense, as you as you are playing in the world of a teenager's sketch book. In short, this game is alot of fun, with a different type of art style that really works for the type of game it is, and I am looking forward to playing the multiplayer when I get a chance.

Curses 'N Chaos

Another awesome game by Tribute. You play as two heroes, Leo and Lea, who are cursed to be constantly followed by death and the horde of monsters that just want nothing more than to kill you. You fight these monsters through waves in a brutal wave based brawler and try to progress through each wave to get the ingredients needed for Allison, the alchemist, to create an elixir to cure the heroes of there curse. This game is so much fun and a great co-op game. From the few waves I played, I really enjoyed this game and feel it may remain on my PS4 for a very long time.

Alien Rage

There are aliens, they are angry, and you need to kill them! I initially played a bit of this game on PC a few years back and loved how it is just a plain and simple fun FPS. The game is a fun, run-and gun, shooter that reminds me a bit of Bulletstorm with how you chain different kills to get through levels. Of course it isn't as refined as Bulletstorm, but it is still a great game that I am enjoying a quite a bit.

I know people are complaining about the games they give but I have to say I really enjoy the games from the last couple of months. Most people who moan are all the guys who never really want to try and say they like an Indie game...

Alien Rage is Awesome Fun!
My Fiance likes shooters but hates the COD/BF type of story stuff. She like old school Kill/Shoot/Run/Shoot...
Both Vita Games are kinda Fun! 10 Sec Ninja is hard... and Curses is AWESOMe!

LCRBeattie, myself and our better halves had a gaming night last night and spent quite a bit of time playing Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime

The game is great as a couch co-op game, with up to four players taking control of the different points of the ship, as you navigate through each level. We played on a fairly easy difficulty, and things still got a bit frantic at points, making communication key alot of the time, which is what makes the couch co-op expereince so much fun. From the few hours we played last night we all seemed to really enjoy it and and we even resorted to some random silliness at points to get certain trophies ( See: Couples Dance Lessons )

A really fun game that we had a ball with, and will more than likely play again soon.

Thankfully we keep the older games on the list. The games have been taking a hit the last couple of months but now last month was Mugen Souls Z and now Legacy of Kay... Vita has been in a slump but if they are going to give us better sale prices for Vita and PS3 games and DLC, its probably not to bad... just wondering what are they going to do for the "value" aspect... Dropping the other two and replace it with...
