March PS+ games
Broforce (PS4)
Galak-Z (PS4)
Super Stardust HD (PS3)
The Last Guy (PS3)
Flame Over (PS Vita)
Reality Fighters (PS Vita)
Official announcement
I'm not sure how I feel about the games. Flame Over looks fun and I have Reality Fighter, Galak-Z's Vita version was cancelled if I remember correctly and same for Broforce... Think I tackle the Ps3/Vita Ps Plus Backlog...
Both Broforce and Galak-Z both reviewed really well and Broforce is meant to be escellent for it's co-op gameplay.
Regardless, I still can't help but feel Sony is slipping further behind Xbox Live with PS+ now mandatory for multiplayer this gen. This is yet another month without any "AAA" titles (which will have "perceived" value, even if they're average games), nor any titles that show off the technical prowess of the console (as opposed to say, Lords of the Fallen on Xbox One this month).
Taking a look at PS4 PAL region releases since November 2013 to present, the "AAA" retail games released on the service consist of:
- Injustice: Gods Among Us – Ultimate Edition (well-marketed, great for both content and visuals)
- InFamous: First Light (well-marketed and technically impressive but still a lower cost expansion to the main game)
- Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (plenty of marketing, technically excellent but just cheap prologue chapter to MGS5)
- The Walking Dead: Season Two (excellent game but a compilation of downloadable episodes and not technically impressive)
There are plenty of excellent downloadable titles that have been released but for the majority of PS4 console owners, seeing PS+ releases of bigger, well-marketed games will give the impression of greater value. With 13 million copies of Star Wars Battlefield sold, gaming website traffic would be through thee roof if every one of those players thoroughly researched the title. It's more likely many picked it up based on the movie association and the extensive advertising campaign from EA in other media. When you compare Xbox One's backwards compatibility vs. Sony's pay-for-it-again up-scaled PS2 games, you get even more recognizable last-gen "AAA" games for your money.
With PS+ costing up to twice the price of Xbox Live Gold on a month-to-month basis (and still more expensive for a year subscription), Sony could do with a price cut or start to introduce some more recognizable games into the line up to improve it's perceived worth.

This tweet really got me excited. And then the final line up left me disappointed afterwards.

Broforce is the only one I really feel is worthwhile on this list. I think with the amount of AAA games that have long since been forgotten there are a ton that come to mind that would be worthwhile putting up as PS+ games (at least for PS3).
Red Dead Redemption or GTA IV to name two.

@Llama while there may be some fanboy posting, the majority of people are irritated because part of the justification for the price hike we experienced last year wasn't only more stable servers but also value for money in the sense "look at the games you are getting as a member". Right now XBL is cheaper AND they are putting up better games AND with BC you can play the 360 games, now or in the future, on your XB1 and via streaming on your Win10 PC. Purely from a value for money perspective, inclusive of the fact that you RENT the games each month, XBL is better value.
And, sorry, but your argument of "you have a big backlog, therefore you should not complain" is presumptious and nonsensical when applied to the argument of value for money. While many gamers have a backlog, not all do. Furthermore the fact that I may have a number of older games still to play does not, in any way whatsoever, negate the fact that as a package PS+ and XBL are sold inclusive of these games. Whether I pay R0.01 or R1m for that right, as that all it is a right to play those games whilst I maintain my membership, I still have that right and the right to expect value for money.
As it stands if I am unhappy with the cost and the service my only choice is to migrate to PC where MP DOES NOT carry any post game server cost. I cannot separate the server cost from the games and that is where both services should go. Give us a Tiered product. One that only charges you for the servers, one for the games and one for both.

@Siosal:
This would of been a really good guess! With the launch of SFV this would of been a typical thing to do... damn unofficial posts... gets us all hyped for nothing... haha
