So there are a LOT of movies being made from comic book characters but quite a few glaring ones missing. Which comic book movies do you want to see made?

I for one would love to see a Zatanna movie, she's a brilliant character and would bring some edge to the DC cinematic universe. They just need the right person to play her.

Problem is trying to condense a comic into a movie... The KnightFall (hahahahaha) comics would be great if done right.

I think I'd rather have a bit of a break in comic movies actually. There's just too much coming out and it's starting to take away from the special-ness of it all.

For me DC should just stick to the animated stuff, they're killing it there.

Just about done reading Mage: The Hero Denied so a trilogy based on the three series (The Hero Discovered, The Hero Defined and The Hero Denied) would be pretty freaking cool.

While I'm on a Matt Wagner rant, also option his Grendel series for film or TV, can go through the whole Hunter Rose Saga right up to the Grendel Khan and Grendel Prime. On the DC front, they really ought to look to his Sandman series from the mid-late '90s, excellent Vertigo stuff.

Oh and speaking of wishlists, James Robinson's Starman run from the 90s would be a great prestige TV show.

Wagner's Sandman details the adventures of the Golden Age Sandman.
