If I can give you some advice. Don’t worry about the time limit. It means nothing in the grand scheme of things. What you can do is, check which ending you want to get and make a hard save before it. Do your ending, reload and just take your time. The timer running out means almost nothing.

Even without doing that, there’s plenty of time in the game to do what you want.

Beyond Good & Evil Movie in the Works from Detective Pikachu Director

We recently spoke about the state of Beyond Good & Evil 2, and how its ambitious concept may prove to be a huge undertaking. With the amount of hype still resting on the game, it seems like Ubisoft is ready to take it a step further by expanding their franchise to other mediums as well. Recently, Ubisoft announced that they would be teaming up with Netflix to produce a live-action adaptation of Beyond Good & Evil. The potential of the game's universe is there for what could be a compelling movie, though it remains to be seen whether this will be another repeat of Assassin's Creed or not.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a live-action Beyond Good & Evil movie adaptation will arrive under Netflix. To give some hope to fans, though, the film will be directed by Rob Letterman, who previously directed Detective Pikachu - which many agree is one of the best video game to movie adaptations yet. Sadly, while a director is secured, the search for some decent screenwriters is underway as the film is still in the very early stages of production. It might make more sense to target the film's release date to coincide with the upcoming game sequel too.

The bring the world of Beyond Good & Evil to life, though, there will have to be a blend of live-action and animation. This is apparently what the studio is targeting, much like the seamless blend in Detective Pikachu. However, a lot of hope also rests on the shoulders of which screenwriters Netflix inevitably hire. Good video game to movie adaptations have been increasingly difficult to find, with only some recent ones standing out like Detective Pikachu and Sonic the Hedgehog. While by no means perfect or great movies, they certainly managed to remain faithful to their source material while carving compelling stories in those worlds. Let's hope that Beyond Good & Evil falls on the better side of that coin.
