@Catha - I get you - I still waited on the physical for Alan Wake 2. Was also improved by then with updates

So what movie would you like to make?
Post a script idea for the next blockbuster movie
For some reason I had a movie idea while stuck in traffic. Produce a line of modern life movies that seem normal on the surface, (like She's all that, 10 things I hate about you, or other chick flicky movies) but set in an alternate universe. For instance, everybody wears onesies for every day things, Or there are NO cars, or nobody has any body hair. No attention is ever drawn to the oddities and they are never explained, they are just how the universe functions.
Second idea.
A world where cellphones batteries are basically nuclear. They never run out of charge. Somebody figures out how to make them explode at will. A teenager gets hold of the code.
Aliens turn up on earth, but it turns out they are dumb as bricks (Not sure if this has been done?)

I have had this idea for a while and did a rough sketch of the script and ran the idea by my buddy who works in the movie industry.
The idea came to me will all this land repossession talks going on. The plot of the story can basically take part in any part of the world, USA, UK and South Africa.
This story is a comedy so we will get a lot of wacky dysfunctional characters, think Rednecks / Brakpan (I may joke about Brakpan…I am from Brakpan)…
This family discovers that the land the parliament (South Africa version), White House (US version) and Buckingham Palace (UK version) belongs to them and was unlawful taken, they initiate a claim on the property and wins and move in…and the fun starts…

I have toyed with the idea of "Everyday dude gets superpowers. How long before he turns to evil?"
From personal experience I would MAYBE last a week. Imagine being stuck in traffic and a taxi nearly kills you. You can start fires with your mind... Or some miserable waste of oxygen messes you around at work. You have the power of telekinesis, you can stop his heart with a thought....
