Steelbooks sadly got lost. I'm headed to Europe next week so I'll just pick it up there.

What news is this about Control @VectorTwoSix?

I really feel bad for @Tea and the rest of Nexus staff. Can't think that delays are nice for them. Especially the great lengths NexusHub goes to, to get these physical releases for us.

I'm just grateful that NexusHub manages to get hold of these niche titles that I love so much. We'd be screwed otherwise

Just saw the news about Control Resonant - really sad, but that's the state of SA shipping I guess.

What does this alternate version look like exactly?

Sony's decisions has slowly eroded my faith in the company but there's not much recourse given the state of tech these days. I'm likely riding the PS5 gen into the sunset because PC parts keep going up and up and the PS6 is definitely going to have a disgusting price tag. So I'm mostly just enjoying games where I can. I'm not buying GTA6 but I did buy Phantom Blade and I'll likely double dip for the physical.

Not to say people shouldn't vote with their wallets, because that's ultimately what everyone should do. But at this point in time, I'm more worried about AI. I don't think I can even care about Sony lol

@Haseo

I think Sony is going to get a reality check. They know that physical stills sells very well outside of America the Land of the Fat.

Putting all their eggs in 1 basket with the American market is going to blow up in their faces. I have quite the choice words on how I feel about Sony.

But I am sure @Tea will have a heart attack reading what I would post on the chatbox. But Sony has lost my business forever.

But we'll see what the NO PHYSICAL NO BUY guys do when GTA6 release day comes. I bet most of them will be the hypocrites they are and buy it.

@KnightFall500

What I can tell you is that Hellraiser Revival became on of my favourite games so far I've played this year. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. I liked it so much that I replayed it straight after finishing it.

@Cathal Think some ppl are going to get a big surprise.
& rumors are that when the online mode does hit, it will cost extra to play.

I will also not be buying a PS6 or GTA.
Majority of the games I like have always been on PS, so I will still support physical games on PS5.
I have zero hype for GTA6 & don't support codes in boxes anyways.
Would rather re buy & re play GTA5 on PS5.
& when everybody else is jamming GTA6, I will be playing Hellraiser.

@HaseoVII I'm only buying it because of FOMO (even though I didn't actually like GTA V that much).
Sony has already lost my business, I've already started building a PC and won't be buying a PS6.

Stranger Things season 1-5
Seasons 1-4 rewatch before the last season.
Season 1 still good, season 2 the weakest in the series.
Season 3 gets more action, season 4 still my fav in the series. Just the Russian sub plot was unnecessary.
Season 5 was good, just LOTS of plot! Good ending to the series as well.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power S2-3 - getting darker in theme. Still good. Two short seasons (7+6 episodes)

Pokémon Concierge - second drop of four episodes. Beautiful stop motion anime. Karen Fukuhara voice acts in so many shows (Kipo, She-Ra and this) along with being the best thing in the Boys.

Future Man S1 - rewatch. Still terrific. Watched 1 and 3 before, not 2.

It's Florida, Man S1 - just OK, expected more. It's a short anthology of 'Florida Man' stories.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power S5 - finished series with a few days to spare before it leaves Netflix. Great series overall.

It's Florida, Man S2 - OK

Cleaning Lady S4 - meh, didn't end properly before it was cancelled.

Rick and Morty S8 - great, no weak episode. James Gun/Zack Snyder appear as themselves as Rick and Morty take them to task for ruining franchises by trying to make their own sequel.

Selling Superman
4 part documentary, about a guy who basically inherits his fathers massive comic collection, including trading cards & a few figures.
LOTS of keys, including one Superman #1.
Multiple issues of keys as well, 20, 50 some a 100.
All worth millions! But his 2 sons & ex wife all seem ungrateful.
Eldest son says he has millions in the bank already.
Farther had a metal issue, but still provided well for his family as a lawyer. Seems he just wanted to be alone with his comics, but his family didn't like that.
"Daddy didn't love me." *cries into millions of $*
Any who, I was thinking with so many well graded keys coming into the market. The value of a lot of those comics will drop.

I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson S1-3 - three short seasons of the absurd.

The Witcher S4 - Liam Hemsworth just slots right in, you will not even notice after 10 minutes. Same pacing (and story) issues as previous. Poor Rats! Regis arrives.

Landman S2 - huge amount of filler in this otherwise entertaining MAGA fever dream of a show. Good finale saves S3

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds S3 - Some dark episodes incl. Enemy Mine homage. Two really lame episodes occur in first four but don't panic it's all good thereafter.

Copenhagen Test S1 - bio-hack premise was cool but pacing made it meh. Ended decent enough not to care about any S2.

The Regime - funny but occasionally pitch black Winslet limited series.

CSI Miami season 6-10
Not as good as Vegas & NY.
Revolving door of actors, only Horatio is stand out.
Around the half way point of the series, things start to drag. They do get better in the last two seasons.
The final was very underwhelming, just another regular episode.
No 2 part special, like you would think.

Couple of Showmax shows before the service ends 30 April.

Dare Me S1 - ends on a cliff hanger and cancelled (2019/Covid). Pretty good but if I had known this I would not have bothered watching. Will need to read book to get ending.
Happy Face Killer S1 - another series cancelled but ends well. Surprisingly decent.

Prehistoric Planet S3: Ice Age - terrific

Wise Guy Pt1&2 - the making of the Sopranos. Season 6 was broken into two parts to avoid contract negotiations that would have been needed for a S7. Gandolfini went on strike to get a $1m/episode. He then paid pay rises out of his pocket to the supporting actors.

The Sympathizer - terrific dark comedy sent in the fall of Saigon.

The Paper S1 - good follow on from the Office.

Burbs S1 - OK

Party Down S1-3 - decent comedy where S3 happened 12 years(!) after S2. Never give up on your favourite cancelled tv show!

Get Millie Black S1 - meh, other than awesome Jamaica setting. Permanent subtitles an irritation (thanks Muricans for not understanding accented English).
Red Eye S1 - UK crime series, also meh.
Project One - good documentary on the building of AMG hypercar.

Platonic - Just... stupid, honestly. Watched all of it to give it a solid shot, but it is truly horrible.

Kim's Convenience - A shame it ended so suddenly, it was a very sweet show. Wholesome.

This is a gardening show (Netflix) - watched all episodes in one go last night. Loved it! I agree with Zach Galifianakis: the future is indeed agrarian.

CSI New York season 1-9
Photo finish with Vegas, really enjoyed it.
Good characters, good stories. The one women leaves at the end of season 6. Was not a fan of her replacement.
Season 7 seemed to be the end of the series, with a good season final. But they carried on for another 2 seasons.
The actual final of the series, last episode of season 9 was terrible.

Man on Fire S1 - in isolation decent but nothing like the film. Apparently based on the first two Creasy books with I guess emphasis on second book. Lead channels his Denzel at times. Helped my expectations were low.

Boys S4 - finally got around to it. Felt bloated. Laughed at how many complained about the politics though when the Trump Clown Show 2.0 makes it seem tame. Now on to Gen V.

White Gold S2 - great, pity S1 had already left Netflix. Inbetweeners alumni.

Space Above & Beyond season 1
Watched this way back in the day, still holds up.
One of those shows that was cancelled too soon.
So the ending was sad, no going back to see if the others are still alive.
