New Star Wars movie is a pass

Disney acted like a bunch of [censored] towards George Lucks so I will boycott this movie

He gave a book full of ideas for new Stars Wars movie and they ripped it up in his face

Yeah as his ideas for the prequels show that he is in touch with his audience.

Look I will withold judgement of the new films till I see them, but JJ Abrams doesn't fill me with confidence. Lucas sold the films, Disney has a right now to exploit them however they want, be it spin-offs or ignoring Lucas. I am sure Lucas is very happy with his $2bn and didn't mind when Disney said thanks for the ideas, but we have our own we want to explore.

Ahh, ya Lucas has no idea. He just became about flash and showing off special effects. So ya, I'm keen for the new trilogy where he isn't involved. As for spin-offs, thats just Disney milking the brand. Whether they will be any good is something we will have to wait and see.

Anyone saw what they did to the new Fantastic Four movie?
They even change their origin story…and the cast looks like escaped from the Hunger Games.
I mean Reed Richards was not a pimple faced teenager when he went into space…the as already world renowned scientist….

Erm that's because the FF film is now based off the Ultimate comics and not the 616 comics? That universe had a very young team of supergeniuses in Sue and Reed allied to Reed's childhood friend Ben and Sue's little brother Johnny.

As Amazing Spider-Man was based more on the Ultimate Spider-Man comic series.

Previous FF films sucked - not even Jessica Alba could save them. I suspect this will suck as well so there will be some commonality ....

Probably pretty good, I doubt Disney would do anything in half measures...
