It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens

On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

For niche titles it's okay. Problem is I play mainly bigger titles. Games are expensive enough as is. If I can save 50 bucks, use my ebucks (which some retailers allow) then I'm definitely going with another retailer.

Basically if I have to choose between paying delivery or not I'm going to go for not paying for delivery. On top of that, I find my Nexus orders are usually delayed. I don't think I've ever received a game on release day which is annoying when you're paying extra for delivery especially. And often you have to ask where it is which I don't think the customer should have to do, that's part of customer service.

so far I played 2 out of the 3 pvp modes really enjoyed the one of the mask just need to get hang of the bow will try the other mode tomorrow but I really need to get a proper loadout that suits my style of play just wish the team deathmatch mode from far cry 3 was included in this game as that was tons of fun.

Looks pretty decent on old gen! A lot of detail here & there is gone, but still looks good!

Shangri-La is awesome!!!!! These side missions could have been dlc are there own!

At the arena, I noticed two guys throwing dead bodies off a cliff. Guess thats what happens to you if you die in the arena

Got attacked by a pack of wolves, took them out with a single shotgun blast! As I was about to skin them, another wolf came along! Took him out!
THEN while I was skinning the wolves, a bobcat or whatever it is called also joined the party!!
PETA would be pissed

Is that stupid crap of having to make holsters/pouches out of dead animals still in FC4 because that it the one thing that irritated the[censored] out of me in FC3.

Yup, same mechanic. In fact, most of the mechanics are the same as Far Cry 3 (towers, capturing outposts, etc.)

One pig skin for the first holster upgrade, 2 deer skin for the first loot bag upgrade, etc. I find it to be an interesting mechanic, showing how you "live off the land," as well as giving a different type of challenge instead of just enemies. Also, there's a few changes such as killing an animal with fire or explosives will destroy the skin, but killing it with a clean kill with a bow or throwing knife will give you twice as much skin.

I loved Far Cry 3 though, so I'm really enjoying Far Cry 4

Yes, I dont mind it.
Its actually fun having to hunt down specific animals. Then instead of being able to carry a million credits & all the weapons you want straight from the get go, you have to earn it!

I also loved FC2-3 but would rather buy my holsters with the gun at the shop or stick it in my pants

FC2 mechanism worked best here for me.

Must get this, even if it is evil DLC, seeing as Ubi don't do GOTY with it on disc.

Far Cry 4's Valley of the Yeti's DLC is due on 10th March, Ubisoft has announced.

Just glad I never got around to buying Far Cry 4 Incomplete Edition

Far Cry 4 will be getting the Complete Edition treatment as a retail release in the UK come 19th June on PS4 and PC.

Strangely, no mention is made of Xbox or last-gen versions of this comprehensive edition.

Naturally, the Far Cry 4 Complete Edition includes all the content from the game's Season Pass. This means it gets the Valley of the Yetis expansion, The Hurk Deluxe Pack, and DLC add-ons The Syringe, Escape from Durgesh Prison and Overrun.

already completed it and got the plat would have gotten this if I enjoyed the pvp a bit more and if it had custom built maps editor like fc2 and 3.

I can't remember last when Ubi did that with their own developed game.

Very interesting, I can only assume that the XB1 version did not sell well enough initially to warrant a second release.

Retail releases costs them money (packaging, printing discs etc). I agree with Magius. I dont think X1 sales of the game, or even the X1 itself since the release of the original game, warrant the re-release on X1.

At least with PS4 a good number of hardware sales have occurred since FC4 first launched. There is a potential market there. And there is always a market on PC.

The X1 is a weird system at the moment sales wise. Last stat I read said that the X1 was ahead of where the 360 was at the same stage, but for some reason that seems not to be good enough. TBH my X1 is used mainly for exclusives and second hand multi plat games that I get when they come up before the PS4 version does. I like the X1, I much prefer the controller and headset, but MS is definitely going to be second best this gen ITO sales
