Hey @Tea, any chance you can organise a copy of Silent Hill Origins for me? Doesn't matter which platform

@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

But I dont think that relates to the battle system. I think its just because they are making stupid decisions with the games universe and characters.

But it is also where they started changing the battle system. Most of the complaints I read on the newer FF games are about the battle systems, and how people want them to move back to ATB,and I am the same.

The universe is dependent on the battle system, as there are things that you cannot do with a ATB battle system, and vice versa.

fair enough.

I dont think that will happen though. I dont think the market is there tbh.

Im ok with them adapting FF12 and even FF13's battle system. FF13 is absolutely superb if you do the higher end hunt side quest. That is actually the problem with the system... there are not enough challenging fights in the main storyline to make the battles seem worthwhile.

But then again, most ATB FF's are not exactly challenging either.

I am personally ok with anything as long as its fun, but yeah, seems like ATB is being regulated to their mobile/ handheld projects.

Japanese games are dead. Don't buy crap like this any more. Never been worth it. Bye bye Japan. You make bad games now

I don't get your point. Japanese games will never die and in most cases are superior to western developed games IMO. Different tastes I suppose

All 5 episodes will be available for free. Only the 6th episode is part of a bluray release.

Anime serves as a prequel to FF15, the upcoming CG movie is a prequel abut Noctic's father.

@ Oren - Im a kingdom hearts fan so I do enjoy the new FFXV action orientated combat style - Keen to see and explore the rich fantasy world of FFXV - that's the main thing that attracts me to the series

Ps. My Favorite FF games are FF8, FFXII to give you a better understanding of why I like the FFXV design / gameplay so far !bm

PLEASE keep in mind that the director of FFXIII has NOTHING to do with XV... the director of FFXV is the same guy who was involved in FFVIII.

This is bound to be good, and there's a lot riding on this for the entire FF team, they HAVE to pull their names out of the dirt after XIII gave them such bad publicity.
