Hey @Tea, any chance you can organise a copy of Silent Hill Origins for me? Doesn't matter which platform

@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

Super Villains Come to Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes

Disney Interactive officially announced that a trio of popular Super Villains will be entering the world of Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes - Ronan the Accuser from Guardians of the Galaxy, Green Goblin from Spider-man and the infamous Loki, God of Mischief from The Avengers. Whether it's flexing their unstoppable powers for all things evil in their respective Play Sets, the updated Toy Box 2.0, or the newly added structured Toy Box Games, these Super Villains are forces to be reckoned with.

Ronan: Wielding the Universal Weapon, the ruthless Ronan the Accuser is an unstoppable force in both the Guardians of the Galaxy universe and in the Toy Box mode. Cloaking, energy blasts and super human strength are all part of the powerful arsenal at Ronan’s disposal as he vies to become the mightiest villain in the galaxy.

Green Goblin: Armed with Pumpkin Bombs, the brilliantly nefarious Goblin uses his Electro Shock Gauntlet to dispatch opponents handily in the world of Spider-Man. Super human strength, spectacular super jumps and the ability to charge his bombs into more powerful bolas all make him a villainous force to be reckoned with for both symbiotes and Super Heroes alike.

Loki: The God of Mischief is at your command when you play as Loki in Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes. Whether hassling Thor and Hulk in the Avengers Play Set or exploring the treasures found in the Toy Box mode, Loki's sure to have a few tricks up his sleeve. From defeating his opponents with a powerful scepter to projecting decoy versions that bewilder even the cleverest of heroes, Loki is the villain you'll love to hate. Creating mischief has never been so fun!

Aladdin and Jasmine Set to Land Their Magic Carpet in Disney Infinity 2.0

Today, Disney Interactive officially announced that the lovable, street-smart Aladdin and his one true love, Princess Jasmine, will be entering the Disney Infinity Toy Box 2.0. Fans will be able to use these magical characters along with a variety of Disney fan favourites, including the popular Marvel Super Heroes, and hundreds of themed items, locations, props, vehicles and more to create all-new adventures and "whole new worlds" born from the imagination of players.

Aladdin: With a scimitar and a magic lamp at his disposal, Aladdin's brand of action is the answer to all your Disney Infinity Toy Box 2.0 wishes. You'll want to seek out this diamond in the rough. A proven fan favourite, Aladdin has consistently been one of the most requested characters since Disney Infinity was released last year.

Jasmine: From within the walls of the Sultan's palace in Agrabah, Princess Jasmine leaps into acrobatic action in Toy Box 2.0. With the help of a magic carpet, Jasmine can summon desert winds to keep enemies at bay.

Wow goodness. This game is going to be big in Japan (no idea why the first was not).

Wonder which console manufacture will try secure marketing for it here.

If you check the box art for the Disney Originals Starter Pack and the above Power Disc Pack you can see both art and figures of Baymax and Hiro, from the upcoming movie Big Hero 6. So much awesome!

Am I correct in saying the Marvel Disney Infinity is only due on 10 October 2014?

I have seen a few ads this weekend on TV stating it now available.
Saw the ads on Chanel 100 and Disney XD on DSVT and on SABC 1 and 3….

The ad starts with Spidey swinging and Nick Fury on a bike in chase.

The local release is still October 10th for the Marvel Super Heroes Starter Packs and a selection of characters and playsets. The Guardians of the Galaxy range is currently scheduled for the week after.

The adverts may be the international versions and so don't account for the local release.

    Thanks!
That is what I thought, however, I foresee these ads creating a lot of confusion…

Your figures and power discs will all be be fully compatible with the new Toy Box, it's just the adventure / playset pieces which are specific to the original title. On the previous page there is a compatibility chart you can check out.
