Yeah it's ok, Bloodborne is too easy so I'm not super amped for it as it's most likely just the same old but I will pick up the expansion and play through it
I like the inclusion of the Bow weapon, I will definitely give that a go, really hoping the difficulty is increased in the expansion though, I want a cheap boss and enemies that kills you over a 100 times before you can get anywhere
the end boss should have all items disabled that would be cool.I heard that bosses are getting new attack patterns and such so that could be cool.

If not, then its not worth getting the GOTYE for me. I will rather just get an old pre owned copy then.
Spoke to Tea earlier and it seems the dlc is on the disc. I'm getting the GOTYED myself as well

Busy playing the Old Hunters expansion on NG++. After beating every single boss solo including 3 of the 5 Old Hunters Bosses (still need to face the final boss), I am now seriously stuck on Laurence the First Vicar.
I deal out nearly 1000 - 2000 damage per shot at any one time and have fallen to this SOB 50+ times already. The guys second form is seriously despicable! On the surface his attacks are well telegraphed and averagely easy to dodge, but a single hit from this guy in NG++ is either an instant kill or a guarantee that the next sparrow to fart will take you down.
I am seriously at the end of my tether. I know this guy is optional but holy monkey this guy is owning me EVERY time! Is anyone playing this at the moment at all? Has anyone faced him?
I am so desperate that I even called in the NPC co-op partner to help and all he does is get you to the second phase a little faster if you play your cards right. Not even the NPC can stand long against his second phase and I know because I have summoned him 35 times!!!!!

So I finally got around to playing the old hunters dlc, nothing great so far, much prefer the other 2 DLC's from Dark Souls 2, this just seems more of the same old same old stuff. I do love some of the new weapons though, Moonlight Sword is awesome but don't have the stats to use it 
The Bow Sword is amazing as well, wish you could start the game early with it, definitely my type of weapon. Playing this on NG+ something, probably NG+++ as it contains all 3 endings, I had 5 different characters but for some reason when I started I had my original character and then just a lvl30 character close to the end. So started with the level 130 character, trying to get to level 135 so I can use moonlight greatsword
Laurence was pretty easy, stay to his right and most of the stuff misses you, 2nd phase is a joke though, doesn't have any attacks that seem to be a threat. Not sure why he is one hit killing you though, my stats are far less than yours and I can survive 2 hits. I also do about 300-400 damage per hit, my gems aren't that great and can't be bothered to go into the chalice dungeons again.

Glad you finally got round to it, although I am sorry you are disappointed by it. My issue with Laurence all came down to him being able to kill me so quickly. I could get him down to phase 2, but any mistake after that would cause me to die and have to restart.
I guess the RNG got you on a good day as he has enough in his second phase to kill you, especially when he closes distance on you so quickly. I had plenty of times where I thought "damn this is easy", then I'd be impatient or make a mistake, die, and then the next round was impossible.
