On another note. Now that I’m done with Blood Of Dawnwalker, I need to decide what to play next. Any suggestions

@deathkid

If I can give you some advice. Don’t worry about the time limit. It means nothing in the grand scheme of things. What you can do is, check which ending you want to get and make a hard save before it. Do your ending, reload and just take your time. The timer running out means almost nothing.

Even without doing that, there’s plenty of time in the game to do what you want.

You can switch the game on and immediately play and the bosses are still piss easy, although I must admit, Mergo's Wet Nurse was just too much for me, I had to call for help I heard about this story Magius, but if you've played Souls games, Lords of The Fallen and Bloodborne, you can immediately see which path was taken with Bloodborne and that is the Path of Lords of the Fallen, where areas, mobs/enemies are the challenge, and the bosses just to show of incredibly designed bosses but with quick to read tactics, whether you leave the console on or not, the dodge system in Bloodborne is maybe just TOO efficient, it beats any attack

So people are leaving their PS4's on for 12 hours before fighting a boss? Lol that's just stupid and even worse than summoning for help. Why waste all that time just summon help and move on. Or you know just git gud lol

It seems that the guy who found it left it overnight and forgot to awitch his PS4 off and found this the next day. Destuctoid (I think) tested it out after he reported it and found that this does work. I am sure the devs will patch this soon.

I agree with DP, anyone using this tactic is dumb, just ring the bell, it takes the boss from being easy, to just stupidly easy in just 5 minutes rather than 12 hours

The only 3 bosses I could not (and don't feel ashamed to say it) beat solo:

Dark Beast Paarl - Tried 5 times and decided to ring the bell - Although I think with a little more effort I could take him.

Shadow of Yahrnam - Also 5 attempts and rang the bell - Not sure if I'll even beat them after 15 attempts, very annoying bosses!

Mergo's Wet Nurse - Must have tried this boss 8 times and then rang the bell - Was the closest time ever in this game where I felt like throwing my controller against the wall, kick the dog, give both my kids a hiding (just because) and ask my wife to shoot me in my foot, that's how frustrated I got To get this boss down to mid health is one thing, but when that fog appears, I just get my ass handed to me EVERY god damn time

So instead of waiting a couple minutes to summon help people can just turn their console on before going to work and when they get home they can play Bloodborne on easy mode? I wonder how many people that do this still die lol.

Didn't think the dark beast was hard at all. Got him in my second attempt as my first try was to see his patterns. When he backs away just charge him and he'll do his area effect attack. Can easily drop him before it goes off. Was level 42 so not sure if I was over leveled for the fight.

Shadows fight was long!! Think it took me at least 10 minutes to end them on my third try.

BSB I called in for reinforcements

Helped a couple guys with the dark beast and shadows as well.
Co op does break the game immensely.

Yeah...I'll def be able to Take down Dark Beast, I got close every time, then I rush and die, stupid mistake on my part.

Shadows - I truly struggled here, even on my 5th try I didn't even come close.

BSB - Strange you struggled with him/her/it (as your Dark Beast Tactic works on this boss), I have now restarted a new game and played right up to BSB again. On my 1st play through, I took him/her/it down on my 3rd try and on my 2nd game it took me two tries. You need to rush this boss as well, don't put distance between you and BSB. When you run up, lock on and when you close, she'll sweep, just dodge, even though it looks like it'll hit you, it doesn't (dodge is WAY too effective in this game lol), after 2nd dodge, you'll be right behind BSB, giving you (dependant on your weapon) between 3 and 4 strikes, then roll away. I also used Molotov Cocktails when I back up to use antidotes or gain health, it does between 150 - 170 damage, nice chunk when 6 of them hits and BSB is below half

Could never do a boss co-op on my first try, I'd feel too cheated out of the experience even if I have to fight them 30 times I'll keep doing it till I get it right. The way you steam roll bosses in this in co-op is just a hollow victory. I don't mind helping others but have to do it myself on a first run.

You can never get back that first win, so I could never say yes I beat Blood-starved Beast on my 5th try, it would always be yeah this guy helped me.

Well...I try a minimum of 5 tries, that's my que to call in for help, else I'm just going to get too upset. And no, I can't switch off and come back. As long as I feel I did my best, I don't care about calling in for help, that's why it's there. Also, I really don't care what other ppl say because I got help to get me past a certain boss, it's not like a care about other ppl's opinions that much when it comes to me.

Must say though, I killed WAY more bosses in this game on my 1st play through than any of the Souls games, I only started solo'ing most bosses on my 2nd play through in the Souls games. S&O still holds the record (out of any boss on any game) to this day for handing me my ass every time I tried fighting them, I can't even remember how many times I tried, I just know it was a lot...one day when I'm a lot older I'll try again

BSB was only my third encounter and I’m not the most experienced souls player either
Think I was only level 28 – 30 at the time and after 6 attempts I was done and needed help.
Poison was the issue for me and after every fight having to re-farm for molotov’s and antidotes really irritated me.
So at try No. 7, fully stocked up, I was ready to ask for help.

Subsequently though in doing some BSB co-op I found staying close but just not face to face freaks to beast out and it backs away a lot so maintaining close proximity isn’t as easy as Dark Beast.
Check my vid and plus I will admit, if you watch you’ll notice two lucky hits on the beasts face which turned the fight in favour of me

Amygdala in the defiled chalice dungeon took me about 15-20 tries, think I tried for about 3 hours to beat it and once I did the victory was so sweet and then I hit myself for taking so long to figure out the fight cause it was actually really easy. The only thing was the one hit kill randomness in a 15-20min fight.

My view is also different in that I play these for the challenge not just to finish it so summoning goes against that.

A win matters to the person winning if you need to make an excuse for it then you know it wasn't a complete victory. If you don't then your happy with the end result.

Unless of course your victory was pyrrhic.
