@DEATHGIGAS
They have it listed here: https://nexushub.co.za/product/control-resonant-pid285827.html

Just keep in mind that the physical edition was delayed from Remedy's side, so releases like a month after digital.

Ironic thing. There is going to be an album for GTA6. And it will be available on both CD and Vinyl.

So clearly it's about control for Sony and Rockstar, not wanting you to own games. But you can own a CD and Vinyl. Both are crappy companies. I really want to see Sony crash and burn so hard. But the way Sony is going, it might be sooner, rather than later.

I was astounded when I saw that there was no thread like this already - so I decided to make one. This thread is for sharing your general manga thoughts, what you are currently reading, recommendations etc.

Black Jack Vol. 1

Really enjoying Black Jack so far. The the overarching themes and tones are pulled off so well and obviously had a very large impact on the industry as a whole. The fact that it was drawn so long ago and yet the operation images are so detailed amazes me; although this is Tezuka and his works in many ways are timeless.

I used to buy manga frequently but that's sort of fallen by the wayside, though I'd love to pick it up again.
Generally stuck to worthwhile titles like FMA, Berserk, GANTZ, and so on.

Nowadays I just read the Shonen Jump trifecta online as new chapters get released, Bleach (which needs to end), Naruto and One Piece.

Yeah I also used to read buckets of manga, but found it increasingly difficult to keep up the hobby as series fall out of print and it all becomes digital.

Ok so Like Tiggi I have fallen out of reading Manga and watching Anime. I need recommendations to get back into it. I generally like comedy and action Manga, the perfect mix being Trigun IMO. Also having grown up in the 80's watching Starblazers, G-Force and Robotech, I do love the sci-fi opera genre. Any help is appreciated.

Last caveat, I do prefer stories with an end so if it is a show I love 26 episode shows or even Kenshin which did pretty much end after 160 odd eps. These shows and books that are neverending like Dragonball just don't do it for me.

Sun-Ken Rock is amazing, good comedy, BRUTAL fights. LOVE the artist. (Rather adult though, but not to bad)

Also try Tende Freeze. good comedy and story

Well it sounds like you enjoy action-orientated stuff.

For Manga:

Gantz is the nest thing I can think of in that regard.
Oldboy
Anything by Naoki Urasawa (20th Century Boys, Monster, Pluto)

I don't generally watch gritty anime though, can't help you on that one. I don't think I've watched any sci-fi opera's either.

I know this thread is about what we are reading but has anyone bought from amazon(US online store)? Because it seems like that is the only place where I will be able to get Blade of the Immortal volume 6 and 7 from.

Rainforest store? Not Manga, but other stuff incl comics and they've been excellent. Also try Comixology, loads of stuff on there of even kindle. Not a great reader for comics, but good enough

Just checked, DH has its own on iOS and isn't selling through Comixology

How much was the shipping? If I didn't own so many volumes already but I guess to buy from the DH app can be my last resort.

Sorry dude, only saw your post now. anyway shipping can be a bugger. They helpfully have a nice calculator on the site that includes all costs incl taxes. What they do is charge you for the taxes and pay that for you so that when it is delivered you don't have to worry about that nonsense. Take a look at that and see. Otherwise use the DH app. It is very good and I get most of my books via these apps nowadays.
