Hey @Tea, any chance you can organise a copy of Silent Hill Origins for me? Doesn't matter which platform

@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

Three exclusive Assassin's Creed 3 single player missions will be spread across three special editions of the game, publisher Ubisoft has announced.

The most lavish of the three releases is The Freedom Edition which includes the following swag:

A 24-cm high-quality figurine of Connor
A steelbook case art drawn by awards-winning comic artist Alex Ross
George Washington's notebook revealing all the truth & secrets about the Assassins and the Templars during the American Revolution.
One exclusive Lithograph
Lost Mayan Ruins single player mission: Connor's mission leads him in an old Mayan pyramid, full of mysteries and revelations. Players will be able to unlock Captain Kidd's fabled cutlass, a deadly, brutal and beautiful piece of steel.
Ghost of War single player mission: The tide of the Revolution turns into the Templars favor. Defeat your enemies and unlock The Pontiac's War Club, a powerful Native American weapon.
Multiplayer Sharpshooter package: Unleash the Sharpshooter fury in multiplayer with one new character, the Sharpshooter, one Relic, one Emblem, one special Picture and the Title of "The Jester".

The Join or Die Edition is slightly more modest, offering the following extras:

The medallion of the Assassins with its high-quality curd ladle
George Washington's notebook revealing all the truth and secrets about the Assassins and the Templars during the American Revolution.
Ghost of War single player mission
Multiplayer Sharpshooter package

Finally, the plain old Special Edition offers some snazzy packaging and an exclusive single player mission titled A Dangerous Secret that tasks you with fighting "against a secret that could jeopardise the funding of the revolution".

Complete the mission and you'll be rewarded with an exclusive weapon - a flintlock musket.

No guarantee we will get all or any ...

OMG!!! This game is going to be EPIC!!!!

Busy playing BH now, and it is a beautiful looking game, I'm really impressed how they just keep making this game look better and better. AC3 from what I can see is going to be mind blowing!!! Seriously can't wait

Agreed Nagool, what's the point of continueosly doing the same thing game after game, not a lot changes in the AC series as it is, but they somehow manage to keep the game feeling fresh. I'm sure you'll climb trees and other buildings etc. But honestly, if they reduce "building jumping" tremendously I won't be upset at all, maybe they'll bring something new to replace it, but still not a major train smash if they don't replace it imo, I believe they'll do something great though in this game. AC's story alone will keep me playing this series till the last game is released.

I like the hunting aspect - apparently the more your focus on a specific gameplay aspect the mor ethe game evolves in that direction - ie. if you hunt alot the game then introduces you to a character that has a hunting club...

the map is 1.5 times biiger than the map of Rome in the brotherhood

God, awesome... But i promised myself that i'm gonna do my best to avoid general game hype from now on... I think hype is messing with games and entertainment in general... And how so many people have opinions before the game even comes out! crazy... but can't wait!!!
