Hey @Tea, any chance you can organise a copy of Silent Hill Origins for me? Doesn't matter which platform

@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

Wow This collectors edition is nice!!

Big ass steel tin lol! The artbook actually has good art in it for a change and the hardcover just makes it feel so quality.

The cd soundtrack is top class as well, lots of good tracks!

And of course swim suits and bunny suits !

Worth every penny, damn defiantly one best CE's iv got this year.

Would of preferred a smaller box for the game, it's too big and doesn't fit on any of my shelves where my gaming setups are

As for the game itself, it's fun for a few hours but it doesn't really have any legs past that.

Story mode is boring and stupid cheesy. There really is nothing worth playing story mode except to unlock a few characters.

Gameplay options are limited and good luck to new players. There is bugger all training in the game. You get a training mode but so far I've not found anything that explains the mechanics of the game. So people new to the series or just casual fighting game players won't know wtf some of the stuff means especially when they start doing the training set to go through all a characters moves.

The cinematic effect wears off very quickly and the difficulty is retarded at times if your into playing the CPU.

If you want a 3D fighter, get Tekken Tag Tournament 2. There is more variety and the online is much better. As a 3D fighter it's overall a better pick over this game.

Well I agree with DP with Tekken tag 2 being a better choice if you had to choose between the two. I dont agree that DOA5 is a bad game at all. What DOA5 is, is a really good Arcade styled 3D fighter and a must for DOA fans

Pretty much all the cheesy Japanese Anime styled mini story scenes and character dynamics, sub par voice overs, and old skool multi tiered backgrounds are back from the previous games. So all the camp Japanese arcade fighter stuff that makes DOA, well awesomely DOA.

As mentioned by DP,The campaign mode is actually fun!(if not a bit cheesy) You go through the story in different character chapters jumping back and forth in the story timeline depending on where that character fits in in DOA5's Campaign Story. It also acts as a basic training mode with bonus sub objectives per character's story segment and is also where/how you unlock the additional Virtua fighter/ other DOA characters.

All in all great 3D arcade fighter that should definitely be part of an existing DOA collection! 8/10

Having a lot of fun with this game! Not the greatest player of fighting games but I love the graphics and the attention to detail with the environments and how the characters interact with them. I think the new DLC is a bit pricey, R45 a pack for selected characters. Hopefully they have a price drop then I'll get them.

New Zack stage that is available for free with the next update which should be out at the moment. Really cool looking stage, never seen a stage like this before with all the water effects around and such. Plus it's free.

lol. I knew they'd bring Leon back. Pretty keen on checking out Momiji. Would be nice if they included Rachel as well, but I doubt it.

Japanese release date set for February 19th 2015.

There will be a "Core fighters" styled PS4/XB1 Free 2 play release to coincide with the standard release date as well.
