@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

For niche titles it's okay. Problem is I play mainly bigger titles. Games are expensive enough as is. If I can save 50 bucks, use my ebucks (which some retailers allow) then I'm definitely going with another retailer.

Basically if I have to choose between paying delivery or not I'm going to go for not paying for delivery. On top of that, I find my Nexus orders are usually delayed. I don't think I've ever received a game on release day which is annoying when you're paying extra for delivery especially. And often you have to ask where it is which I don't think the customer should have to do, that's part of customer service.

How much would "free delivery for orders over R 1000" affect your decision to more purchases from Nexus Hub?

Well a couple of us on here have our Fight Sticks now and some of us (me ) our buying our new TE.

So share your pictures, mod's, artwork and thoughts on sticks.

As for myself after my terrible experiance with the MadCatz SE fight stick iv decided to go away from madcatz and after much thought decided i would rather get this the Hori Real Arcade Pro V3-SA:

Iv read as much as i can this time and everyone goes on about the quality of this stick and how solid it is (apart from the cable hatch ). Everything from the buttons to the stick is Sanwa so need to buy another stick and ill still swap out my buttons with the colored ones i got as i still want a green/black stick and keep the removed ones as spares.

Waiting for the MvC3 TE sticks to get released so I can buy one of those, hoping the price is a bit cheaper than the current TE sticks since it will be newer and have more stock of them, then depending on what the cover looks like if it's just standard, gloss or holofoil will depend on what I do with it but definitely want to get a TE stick done up like this Morrigan stick

Nicest stick I have seen by miles.

And if it ever drops in price I may pick up one of these:

I just wish these things were universal plug and play.
Sucks that with spending so much money for the parts, you can't use the same one cross platform.
Wouldn't surprise me if the PS3 one is available on PC via hacked firmware or custom drivers, but it's still something that you have to fight to get to work.

@Tiggi

The Hori i ordered works on Pc and PS3 no problems.

Also a PCB out that is 360/PS3 and you can hook up a wii control in there aswell but its quite hectic.

Long story short it is very possible to have one that goes across all three consoles and PC but you need alot of technical knowledge to put it all together.

And well from a company stand point why make 1 item for two products looses cash lol

But yeah it would be nice, but eh im not phased by it

Ahh didn't know that. Well even with PS3/PC I'd be happy with. Definitely puts the Hori in higher regard in my books.

Even my TE works on my PC but not all computers, its got to have an intel chip set or ur fudged,it was a quite a nightmare at 1st but i figured it out eventually, as woofels said you can have it work on all consoles and i knw a few techies who have actually pulled it off, if your serious about buying one i'm sure you could get in touch with sum1 who could patch it up for you.

I suppose when you are spending R1500-R2500 on a stick your getting it for the console you play on the most. Too me it's similar to say why can't I play my 360 game in my PS3. The companies got to make their money

Then like the multiplatform games you get your multiplatform sticks and just like the games they are never the quality of exclusives

It was an easy decision for me to make, my PS3 is the console that gets played so all my fighters will be played on that so I buy my TE for that. If I had fighters on PS3 and then other fighters on 360 I'd probably go with a multiplatform stick Doubt I'd ever buy 1 TE for PS3 and 1 for 360. However I'd definitely buy more than one TE on PS3 so as soon as those MvC3 sticks are available I'll buy one.

That Piece of[censored] MadCatz SE stick i bought im still planning to gut and turn into a PS3/WII or PS3/360 stick depending, would like to do all 3 but not sure about space in that thing.

Than just mod the stick and replace the buttons as im taking the two black ones to put into my new stick at start and select lol.

Hori’s Hatsune Miku Project Diva Controller In Action

http://www.siliconera.com/2011/04/15/horis-hatsune-miku-project-diva-controller-in-action/

Arcade joystick manufacturer Hori is making the ultimate Hatsune Miku: Project Diva accessory. They have an arcade style controller for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Dreamy Theater 2nd.

So, to use this you have to plug your PSP with Hatsune Miku: Project Diva 2nd into your PS3 and connect Hori’s controller into the console. When everything is set up you have something like this video.

Not so much the skill part thats the problem, more the physics. why does a throw have to launch sum1 1km into the air?

i know its a game but geez that just looks stupid...
