Starship Troopers - Traitor of Mars - was ok. Continues the movie continuity and brought back Casper van Dien and Dina Meyer to coice their characters. The acting was pretty damn bad, the plot ok, but the satire they were going for never actually materialised. It was nice to see the power armour finally.

I still wish they would do a film to wrap up Roughnecks though, that was a great interpretation of the source material

King Arthur - nowhere near as good as Guy Ritchie's re-imagining of Sherlock Holmes, so many Cockney geezers was half expecting Del Boy to show up. Plus David Beckham

Watchable I guess.

The Fate of the Furious
Or The Fast and the Furious 8.
It sucked.
As a brainless popcorn action movie, it did its job. But thats were it ends, & so does the franchise for me. I own 1-7, this is the first F&F I will not be adding to my collection. The last one was bearable, but this one was not.
Still boggles my mind how this move made so much money
Jason Statham's prison & plane fights were the only good parts of the whole movie for me.
Mark my words, by F&F 10, they will be in space!

Annabelle
Not as creepy as The Conjuring.

The Conjuring 2
Creepy, but not as much as the first one.
You guys are on your own with the upcoming "The Nun" tie in

Beneath the Planet of the Apes
Not as good as the first one, but still interesting. With a very abrupt ending.

The Mummy - Good movie, I didn't expect the whole monster association thing which was pretty cool, the quick glimpse of the Book of Amun-Ra was cool as well. Hopefully they maybe do a vampire style movie like this considering some of the skulls that were on display.

That Dracula Rising was meant to be the start of this series of films, but that flopped. IIRC there is a Dracula film in the works, after the Jekyll & Hyde one.

LOL KF500 I said the same after F&F: Tokyo Drift (surely the low point of the series?), F&F4, F&F6 and F&F7.

@Scottie The first three F&F movies are the best, after that things get a bit hairy.
I will admit, I did not like Tokyo Drift when it first came out. But it grew on me after watching it a few times. I also think it has aged pretty well.
All I want to see in a F&F movie is some sweet import, muscle & maybe exotic cars racing each other. With a simple back story, & some good looking ladies.
Not Dwayne, single handedly pushing a torpedo out the way, while being chased by a submarine Or cars parachuting out a plane

Life
Was expecting your typical boring alien movie, but got a nice surprise.
The ending was very good, hope they do another one.

Death Note
The new american one.
I've seen the anime & the live action Japaneses movies, all good.
This new one was okay, but they did leave out quite a bit. & the ending leaves it open for a second one.
They were heavy on the 80's songs though.

Re-Animator
First time watching it, & its good! I can see why its a cult classic.
This movie & Pet Sematary have a lot in common.

Escape from the Planet of the Apes
Not that great, but it sets up the next movie. & gives more insight into the last ones.
