I'm definitely going to be ordering Ace Combat 8, but I'm holding out for a potential Collector's Edition. I see you have the "Deluxe" edition, but it looks like the digital deluxe rather than steelcase etc? Unless I'm seeing it wrong?

Great preview at PC Gamer

... it is the biggest open world that Ubisoft has created, and it is truly a sandbox, with 100 missions that you can take in any order. You can play them all alone, or with up to three friends.

The drones are a nod to the old gadget-heavy Ghost Recon games, but functionally this is third-person Far Cry. The icons used to mark enemies and weapon installations on the HUD are almost identical to Far Cry.

@KF and Scottie Difficulty scales as you you add on human players apparently. I am hyped for this, but expectations tempered somewhat after E3. Hands on reports state that the game isn't as tactical as you may want, you can just go in guns blazing so co-ordination will go out thw window quickly.

@Magius The game does not look very tactical, as the previous games were. Not that I played them, I'm not into heavy tactical games.
I think the main focus for this new one, is the open world.
& been less tactical, opens the door to new players like myself.

Hopefully it has been designed for both types of gameplay. I like to play tactically but if it all goes to[censored] I like to go out in a blaze of glory. The last Ghost Recon got the balance right.
