Hey @Tea, any chance you can organise a copy of Silent Hill Origins for me? Doesn't matter which platform

@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

I see a few people dumping bf1 and giving cod a skip in favour of TF2

@Crav Not enough. TF2 has failed to outdo TF in the UK and is unlikely to do so. Only EA thought it was a good idea to release TF2 now instead of earlier or later once BF and CoD had settled down.

On PC there are reports of less than 1000 players in the lobbies. I am 100% sure that EA will blame poor sales on the game and not their asinine decision to release this when they did. They have effectively killed one of their best games.

But I hear there are problems with the Rain Forest for filling pre orders on this anyways.

Nice bust, but the helmet is still better

Lots of people will use that helmet to cosplay a pilot .

The original TF was loved by reviewers, everybody was raving about it, 2 weeks after launch, the player count plummeted, and then it died into obscurity.

This left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouth's

Will only pick up second hand copy of this, if it stays strong.

The games been getting great reviews but sadly it released at the worst time so it won't get all the attention it deserves and from what my mates tell me TF2 is miles ahead of TF1 even the titans are more unique now as compared to the 3 titans in TF1 that was basically a light/medium/heavy frame that basically played the same .

@CRAVINHO & Magius With their girlfriends cosplaying as Harley Quinn of cause
Yeah, releasing this in the middle of BF1 & COD window was a bad decision.
Game got great reviews all round. Just a pity most ppl will drop it when the new COD hits shelves.

@DER Also picking it up pre owned, 4hour campaign is a bit of a let down. & it does not help the game is over R1000

It is great. Only played the SP so far and it is such a tight game. Definitely worthy of rotating annually with BF they way the CoDs do and the way EA tried with MoH. Hopefully they do that from now on instead of abandoning TF.

I can honestly see EA doing a three year cycle, BF, Battlefront and TF so that the studios get ample time to work on each

There was rumours going around earlier in the year that EA was looking at the possibility at rotating their main FPS games so 1 year we would get battlefield the year after that Titanfall and the following year battlefront or something along those lines .

would be a good move from EA as it gives devs more time to work on the games which means the game wont be as broken at launch lol.
