@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

For niche titles it's okay. Problem is I play mainly bigger titles. Games are expensive enough as is. If I can save 50 bucks, use my ebucks (which some retailers allow) then I'm definitely going with another retailer.

Basically if I have to choose between paying delivery or not I'm going to go for not paying for delivery. On top of that, I find my Nexus orders are usually delayed. I don't think I've ever received a game on release day which is annoying when you're paying extra for delivery especially. And often you have to ask where it is which I don't think the customer should have to do, that's part of customer service.

Need to see a good 15-20 minute gameplay video, want to see if this is similar to Resi 4.

I'm looking forward to this. But would like to see more gameplay footage. If it's a lot like Resi4. Then I'm in.

Seeing as this is horror. Here's hoping Sony gets the original Team Silent together and create another original Silent Hill game. A real Silent Hill(Do take not I did enjoy Homecoming and Downpour. Book of Memories was fun also)

Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami's upcoming survival-horror throwback The Evil Within is getting a Season Pass for three DLC packs, publisher Bethesda has announced.

One of these add-ons will have players assume the role of one of the game's monsters, The Keeper (aka Boxman) in a series of mission-based maps. The other DLC packs will be a two-part story arch where you play as protagonist Sebastian Castellanos' partner, Juli Kidman.

Bethesda Softworks®, a ZeniMax® Media company, today revealed the talented cast lending their voices to The Evil Within™, a survival horror game developed at Tango Gameworks under the direction of legendary game designer and studio head, Shinji Mikami. The Evil Within cast includes Academy Award nominee Jackie Earle Haley ("Lincoln," "Watchmen," “A Nightmare on Elm Street”), Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Jennifer Carpenter ("Dexter," “Quarantine,” “The Exorcism of Emily Rose”), and film and television star Anson Mount ("Hell on Wheels,” "Safe”).

The Evil Within, available in summer, embodies the meaning of pure survival horror. Highly-crafted environments, horrifying anxiety, and an intricate story are combined to create an immersive world that will bring players to the height of tension. With limited resources at their disposal, players will fight for survival and experience profound fear in this perfect blend of horror and action.

Academy Award nominee Jackie Earle Haley, who is no stranger to horror, having recently played Freddy Krueger in the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street, lends his voice to The Evil Within’s main antagonist, Ruvik. Making his video game debut, Anson Mount, best known for his role as Cullen Bohannon in AMC’s Hell on Wheels, assumes the role of lead protagonist Sebastian Castellanos. Players assume the role of Sebastian, a veteran police detective, throughout the game in their terrifying struggle for survival.

Rounding off the cast is Jennifer Carpenter, well-known for her role as Debra Morgan in the hit Showtime series Dexter, who plays Juli Kidman, Sebastian’s Junior Detective partner. As part of recently announced Season Pass plans, players will be able to assume the role of Juli Kidman in post-launch content to experience The Evil Within from an entirely new perspective.

"One of the most crucial elements to any successful survival horror game is the setting and sound, which includes the depth and authenticity of the voice acting," said Mikami. "We brought together a great cast of experienced actors to help ensure that players really believe our characters’ emotions and the tension they feel in every scene."

In The Evil Within, Detective Sebastian Castellanos and his partners are called in to investigate a gruesome mass murder. After seeing the slaughter of fellow officers, Sebastian is ambushed and knocked unconscious. When he awakens, he finds himself in a deranged world where hideous creatures wander among the dead. Facing unimaginable terror, and fighting for survival, Sebastian embarks on a frightening journey to unravel what’s behind this evil force.

Slated for release in summer, The Evil Within is in development for the Xbox One®, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, Xbox 360, PlayStation® 4 computer entertainment system, PlayStation 3, and PC. This is still sounding great! I'm sure it's going to more more traditional than revolutionary in gameplay, but I've got high hopes for the production value.

Between Alien Isolation and The Evil Within, October is going to be all about horror.

This game is disgusting... but in a seriously good way! If you like horror games, The Evil Within is a must have (it also has Shinji Mikami's horror brilliance everywhere!)

I'll be picking this up at some stage, looks like they sorted out a lot of early build issues and a 9/10 from gametrailers is great.

This game is WTF as F...
Good graphics (apart from very odd clipping)
Japanese as... Japan
Difficult. as the game really does not explain the rules of hiding from chainsaw wielding bastards.
Gory, grundgy and dirty...
9/10 would eat chainsaw again
