Super Smash Bros. 3DS And Wii U Being Developed By Tales, Soulcalibur, Tekken Staff
not much info yet, but at least i have a reason to get a Wii U now
Nintendo have published a message from the designers of the new Super Smash Bros. games for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. As previously reported, the game is being developed by Namco Bandai in collaboration with Smash Bros. co-creator, Masahiro Sakurai.
Sakurai will be directing the game as always, and overseeing the project.

Kasahiro Sakurai, the game's director, has revealed via Twitter that they will be showing off the first video of Super Smash Bros. Wii U, meaning that we're likely to see our very first trailer for the upcoming brawler on Tuesday.
The tweet specifies that he wanted the entire world to see it at the same time, thus deciding to show it at Nintendo Direct in June.

Wonder if there will be cross play online between 3DS and Wii U cause that would be awesome.
I liked super smash bros. melee on game cube, never got to into the Wii one so be interesting to see what they do with this one.
Main thing in these games is characters for me, give me a wide range of nintendo based characters from across all their ip's, then throw in some third party as well like characters from The Last Story or Xenoblade.
Then I would be happy!

How exciting, I can't wait to see the trailer tomorrow. 
I'm with you on that one, Melee was way better. My hopes aren't that high though, since this isn't actually being made by Nintendo really.
PSBR seemed kind of terrible overall imo.
