@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

For niche titles it's okay. Problem is I play mainly bigger titles. Games are expensive enough as is. If I can save 50 bucks, use my ebucks (which some retailers allow) then I'm definitely going with another retailer.

Basically if I have to choose between paying delivery or not I'm going to go for not paying for delivery. On top of that, I find my Nexus orders are usually delayed. I don't think I've ever received a game on release day which is annoying when you're paying extra for delivery especially. And often you have to ask where it is which I don't think the customer should have to do, that's part of customer service.

Sony (in this PS4 generation) seems to be content to play it safe with a host of 7/8 out of ten (non-exclusive)mediocre titles. Nothing shining, outstanding or edgy yet. Very similar to the original Xbox strategy.

- Uncharted PS4 3 Minute Trailer showcasing ”In-engine” footage interspersed with gameplay segments. Visuals are supposedly unprecedented and set a benchmark for console graphics. Summer 2015 release date. It looks absolutely stellar. Features tropical setting and differing time periods with Nate/Francis.

- Media Molecule’s new title will be a landmark title for Morpheus. 3D world building, beautiful, quirky visuals.Extremely creative and fun. Possibly related to the ”Entwined” trademark filed last week by SCE (not sure). Late 2015.

- Gran Turismo 6 is coming to PS4 as 1080p 60FPS repackaged title in the vein of Gran Turismo 7: Prologue. Stunning visuals, extra features (social connectivity, new tracks, dlc etc). Coming mid-late 2015.

- God of War 4 teaser will be present – will be CG with snippets of in-engine footage. A little early for reveal, but is designed to offset negativity surrounding canceled new IP and generate excitement – also to partially offset CG announce of Gears of War at Microsoft presser. Late 2015. Date wont be announced.

- Kill Strain trademark is related to Syphon Filter reboot for PS4. Sony Bend working on revamping the franchise. Stealth, beautiful visuals and a possible Winter 2014 title. Bend finally getting to join the big boys.

- Wipeout is also making the transition to PS4. Source is unsure of who is developing it, but hints that it could be Sony London, Evolution, or Firesprite.

- Quantic Dream has a trailer prepared – unsure whether it is penciled in for Gamescom or E3. Sony will be watching Microsoft’s presser earlier in the day to gauge whether additional titles will need to be slotted in to dampen hype. Expect Dark Sorcerer- like visuals in real time. Off-topic, but still relevant – they are close to deal to become a Worldwide Studios developer, along with Ready At Dawn.

- Speaking of Ready At Dawn, The Order:1886 will get a stage demo. Big title for Fall 2014. Sony is expecting great things from said title – franchise hopes rest on its performance.

- Ninja Theory working on a PS4 exclusive – possible Heavenly Sword sequel which was shelved a number of years ago. Quite far into development.

- Sony London will be at E3. First AAA title in many years. 3rd person title. Gorgeous. They’re back with a bang,

- Guerrilla Games bringing their RPG to E3. Provocative setting – very interesting. Insane visuals as usual. A good reaction to the title is expected. Will please the hardcore.

- Sucker Punch busy at work on an inFAMOUS: Second Son DLC. Really cool. New powers. Possible new setting. E3 debut.

- Sony Japan Studios debuting two, maybe even three titles. Project Beast – spiritual successor to Demon Souls. The other is The Last Guardian. Retooled for PS4, possible Winter 2014 title. The Other title is shrouded in secrecy.

- Evolution will give Driveclub some time in the limelight. It’s shaping up to be incredible with jaw-dropping visuals. Demo release will be timed with the press conference.

- Teaser of a sequel of The Last of Us

Again with no source ?
Seriously...
anyways dualshockers is a horrible source for 'rumours'. I dont think a single one they published has even come to pass.

Sony has already made a mistake and that is Kingdom Hearts 3 is multi platform

I think the FF13 trilogy is a sign that Sony doesnt care, and why should they? Each game in the trilogy sold far better on the PS3 than it did on the 360.
That is not going to change with FF15. It is not going to change with KH3.

Sony are better putting their money into their own exclusives.

Depends how much it's going to cost, at the moment I'm not buying anything with the current prices of things.

Will watch it either way, looking forward to it.

http://www.dualshockers.com/2014/04/15/rumor-psn-name-change-option-in-the-works-upcoming-ps4-update-made-with-the-help-of-sony-vegas-devs/

I know The last Guardian is somewhat in game limbo, but is it to much to ask for an update, a date, a glimps, a screen shot or just tell us: This will never happen...

Sony better bring it. Because with the cheaper XB1 on the horizon. Sony having the lead won't be that easy anymore

Doubtful the new price is going to reverse things drastically enough for that tbh.
Maybe in the US but PS3 already proved that outside of USA, a PS console can be more expensive and sell better.

But of course, Sony would not want to look they are not doing anything.

TF2 sure. TF1 is most likely working on PS4 atm because the engine will be the same for TF2, so they will now have both console running the game before they start with that.
Unless EA cna get out of the contract and get TF be like very early 2015, I doubt there will be any reason to even release the first TF on PS4.

However, we might see that plants vs zombies game announced for PS platforms. I think that is in the realm of possibility from EA.

Well we need to see when PVZ is coming to PS4. I know its a timed EXCL but it is time for it...

Something that might be on Sonly's list is Destiny... Allot of talk about some new things we might not have known about... I'm hoping for news on The Division and PS Now...

Sony has a new studio called Pixelopus. Will be announcing a game at E3 (leaning towards PSV reveal since the studio comprises students who were working on PSV projects)

In addition to the Sony conference being viewable from cinemas across US and Canada, some demos for E3 have been confirmed:

Gunship X - PSV
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/06/05/gunship-x-coming-to-ps-vita-play-it-at-e3/

EarthNight - PS4
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/06/04/earthnight-coming-to-ps4-vita-the-dragon-apocalypse-approaches/

I suppose expect both as part of a montage. And Sony using the cinema thing may mean big announcements are coming.

Also no Media Molecule game at E3. Maybe no Guerrilla game either.

What predictions do people have?
