Hey @Tea, any chance you can organise a copy of Silent Hill Origins for me? Doesn't matter which platform

@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

If not me and my friend have just been very very unlucky ...

Sucks to hear about the HDD but I somehow doubt it is because of PS+.

maybe the constant updating it does but I turn most of that off.

Hey man, yea you know it!

last night I wanted to use my online storage ... BUT I kept getting Error L 8003051E

That that was basically my entire membership rendered useless :/
Cuz most of my games didn't want to finish downloading either!

...

So I'm doing a full reformat of my HDD
Seems like data somewhere got corrupt?
Or something on the HDD?
perhaps the power tripped during an auto update?
I don't know ... its kinda a shot in the dark ... BUT I hope it fixes ...
I want to play batman already!!!

Hate to say it but maybe the HDD has bad sectors etc? Maybe pull it, and test it in an enclosure on a PC.

Thanks
I'll be sure to try that next time it acts up ( for now I'm holding thumbs and hoping to see the PS4 before this gets worse :/ )

But basically I reformatted the HDD ( fully ... took about 28 hours )
But hey at least everything seems to be working & at the very least my downloads no longer get stuck ...
So since I'm on a 4mb line for the next 2 weeks ... I'll just have to take full advantage of it & then get a UPS back home again & hope for the best when I switch auto updates on again

Here's a question, maybe someone can tell me whether I'm blind or Sony likes to pull fast ones.

In December I purchased the 3-month special for R90 for PS+. Today I get charged a renewal fee for another 3 months.
I was under the impression that it would expire, not go into auto-renewal, and I don't remember seeing anything that indicated that would be the case? If I did, I would've likely removed it.

Not that I mind, but it wouldn't be very kosher if they weren't informing people that when you buy a 3-month sub, it'll auto-renew by default unless you opt out. Usually that's the type of thing you should make very obvious.

Or was I just blind?

I haven't been on the PS store in quite some time, but I'm sure I saw an Auto Renewal option.

*Just found this...

Note to all new PS+ members, auto renewal (please read)
.
Welcome to the wonderful world of +. For those of you who dont know, PS+ has an automatic billing system in place. Once your subscription runs out Sony automaticly bills you again for whatever package you ordered (1 year/ 3 months). So i thought i would make a post telling you how to shut this off. Personally i think everyone should shut this feature off, even if you plan on reupping- If you forget and your plus expires-- as soon as you re-up you will get the games back you had in your previous membership..ok with that said here is what you need to do.

Go to the network icon on XMB

click account managment

go to transaction managment

go to Services list

playstation plus

click on your package

then click cancel automatic renewal

Simple as that . there might be an easier way-- but thats how i do it.

P.S. if you dont shut it off-- they will use the money that is in your account / or if you dont have money or not enough they will take the money from your card on file
