Apparently Marvel is in thinking about doing another standalone Hulk movie but there's no confirmation of anything just yet.
With all the erotic fanfictions of the Science Bros. (Banner and Stark)
I'm sure people would love a Iron man/Hulk crossover movie. lol
Serious btw, lots of Stark/Banner fanfics out there after their scenes talking in the Lab in avengers. I love how Ruffalo and Downey Jr actually knows about this and makes jokes about it. They sometimes retweet #sciencebros tweets. lol

James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy dropped just 35% as it added $5.2 million bringing its 2014-leading domestic total to $313.7 million. Guardians, which has earned enough overseas to push its worldwide total to $632 million, has now eclipsed Iron Man 2’s domestic ($312 million) and foreign totals ($623 million). Next up will be the original Iron Man’s $318 million domestic total.

So yeah, Guardians of the Galaxy did pretty freaking well!
Close to making the same as Thor2.
Amazing considering these are C list characters that no-one besides very few comic book readers knew about. Hell when the Dan Abnett series started I thought it featured the original GoG from the future and I always saw them as lame Legion of Super Heroes knock offs.
Marvel has yet to fail and I am really worried that they are due for a big loss soon. Remember without their success I really doubt that DC's films, even Nolan's horrible trilogy, would've got off the ground. And yes, you didn't misread, I hate Nolan's trilogy. Begins was a good film and really fun. The last two were just awful.

DC is just announcing movies, however, nothing comes out of the studios.
Did you know DC moved office out of New York to New Jersey and retrench half of their staff.

DC is in serious trouble…
How many New 52 titles were cancelled…
They moved many to the West Coast as I recall not NJ, but I could be wrong. Publishing arm is probably in a bit of trouble, but since WB owns the company, they will keep them going to maintain copyright over the characters to make even more cash off of the film, tv and merchandising rights.
My point is, is that as long as these films are profitable the comics are going nowhere. Without the early Marvel successes at Fox (X-Men), Sony (Spidey) and NewLine (Blade), the current MCU would never have gotten off the ground and without that success I really don't think we would've seen the DK trilogy and Man of Steel and now Superman vs Batman.
I am excited for the Shazam film, Superman vs Batman not so much. This whole dark thing is far too close to the grim and gritty trend in the late 80's early 90's kicked off by Miller's DKR and his DD run. Batman can be dark and realistic, but Superman should not be. And the JL film should definitely not be.
