Yeah, if you're a fan of Kingdom Hearts at all I see no reason as to why this would be any worse than what's come from the series before. Unless you just hate characters from The World Ends With You or something, which is one of my favourite RPGs, so I love that Neku's in this.

Yeah which is exactly why I loved Chain of Memories even though I never owned or ever wanted to own a GBA.

So the demo at TGS did not wow me at all, it was a demo but my opinion is on what the demo offered. At this point it feels like KH is being stretched thin but my main concern was with the actual gameplay itself. IT seems like gameplay has opened up to allow you to have access to 2 attacks at the same time, one which is permanent and the other which you need to keep rotating through the attack bar. That was great.

However, you fight with random creatures on your side, as opposed to actual characters. The one thing I disliked about BBS was how solo everything was, but I guess the story captured this, though in a rather fragmented way, so it was not all bad. But like FF13, there seems to be no reason for these creatures to be here except for the sake of it. I think the game takes place in a dream world or something but we will see how this develops.

Another thing was this random dash, bouncing off walls ability which appeared to be infinite from what I gathered and pretty much an unstoppable move at that point in the game. It allows you to get away from fights way too easily taking the sense of danger of them and you can line up pretty good attacks off it. Its a slightly broken move.
The combat also came off as a tad slow.

Early development sure, but the TGS demo just did not wow me. Maybe its because I just came off completing BBS a couple weeks ago.

As for the series being worn thin i don't really see it, the only titles are

Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 2, Kingdom hearts: coded, Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by sleep.

And then the PS2 remake of chain of memories and the ds remake of coded both of which were welcomed.

and there was that stupid v cast game but think that flopped horribly.

My biggest issue with the series is the console hopping, either release it all on PS3 and PSP or all on what ever nintendo console you want but at the moment people will of needed a PS2, DS & a psp to of played all the current titles, plus now a 3DS and there will most likely be a vita title coming some time aswell.

Personally i still feel Birth By Sleep should of just been the third main title and done on the ps3 but eh still love the game.

As for Kingdom Hearts 3 Nomura has already said the team has been to busy with Versus to even start development for it, so doubt we will see it anytime soon. He has how ever said it picks up right from where dream drop distance leaves off.

But yea while i dont feel the story has worn thin, square is milking every final ounce out of this franchise, but seriously Square just give us a fecking collection for it.

Still looking forward to this, but yeah not going to run out and buy a 3DS to play it. Seems like alot of TWEWU in this over FF characters but we will see.

Not usually one to hope for ports but would like a psv port of this. Be able to play the important stuff on playstation lol

Lol i'm sure PSV will get its own new KH game at some point, don't think we'll see it for a loooooooooong time though

It just gets a-little much trying jump from console to console all the time, would just be nice to have all the titles on one machine lol.

This still looks good though, Birth By Sleep dropped an epic mind[censored] on us, so pretty sure this will take that even further. Then hopefully we can get kingdom Hearts 3.

Personally i think that will be the end of the series, atleast with this cast which is probably why they are drawing it out so much lol.

Right so alot of new stuff out about this and links awesome. How it ties in is that Sora and Rikku are undergoing the mark of mastery exam which is why you see places from previous games and out fits.

Bloody nice looking box, dont own a 3DS yet but may just pick this up for the sake of being a KH fanboy If this had ps3 re-masters of KH:1 KH:2 and Birth By Sleep i would be sold
