Also +1 for extremely hype for Resonance. Almost almost done with Silver Pines which has easily become one of my top 3 games this year. Just debating if I should play Phantom Blade or Resonance. Good problems to have

Agreed...also if you like the shonen stuff then I recommend Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and Fist of the north star (Its an oldie, but a goodie)
A good way to get started on fist of the north star would be to watch
"Shin Kyuseishu Densetsu Hokuto no Ken ZERO Kenshiro Den" it acts as a prequel to the series and is a really cool movie
As for non-shounen stuff
"Good Luck Girl" -Parodies shounen stuff
"Knights of Sidonia" - Interesting stories and cool mechs (Weird CG art style)
"Ping Pong: The Animation" - Only if your're really into the artsy stuff...otherwise its a decent sports anime
"Saint Young Men: The Movie" - Buddah and Jesus go on holiday in Japan...nuff said...
"Tokyo Ghoul" - Still airing at the moment, interesting premise and plot...albeit a little slow with regards to actual progress
"Watashi ga Motenai no wa dō Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui/No Matter How I Look at It, It’s You Guys' Fault I’m Not Popular! (or Watamote for short) - Pretty much the only "Slice of life" show that I can watch, and is very relatable in that "Oh god why" kind of way

Tokyo Ghoul
And DBZ
JoJo = One of my favourites
Fist of the north star. (Oldie but a very very goodie)
Wish there is an anime out there that's similar to DBZ. Is there?

Can't say I'm a fan of Love Hina(not my thing). But Code Geass is one of my all time favourites. And recently bought Dead Man Wonderland on blu-ray. And I loved it. Wish it was a bit longer

Seriously dude, if you have just a bit of time then i urge you to read the manga of Dead Man Wonderland...its amazing...the anime barely scratches the surface of the awesome stuff that happens later on in the manga...

So the manga actually goes further than where the anime stopped. I was so angry after the last episode. Felt like it just started. Need to get the manga then.
@Sushi
Dude you ask for recommendations then you answer back like that. Let me rather say nothing more before I get banned

Boku no Pico
...always
...anytime
...any day
What is it about?
About a struggle for humanity, compassion between brethren, a singularity of youth.
A fine piece that exceeds even War and Peace in terms of deepness, right down to the ooze of clarity when you finish watching it.
Don't let google images fool you, it is a mere trick to fool you not to watch this masterpiece

I don't think any store stocks it, it was so good that they never sold it in shops to save everyone from seeing every other anime as bad in comparison.
but I did hear that there's a black market that sells this anime, though I don't think I should be describing it as a mere anime, because it transcends anime so much it should be described as its own entity
