Bloodborne & The Old Hunters Expansion (PS4)

Yeah just not feeling this expansion but I think it's more of a Bloodborne thing than anything else, playing through SotFS made me realize how much better the DS style gameplay is compared to the Bloodborne gameplay. For a R150 I can't complain too much though, gave me enough gameplay to make the money worthwhile.
Laurence 2nd half was a bit of a joke, I killed him with my gun, Evelyn with some Bone Marrow Ash does around 500-700 per shot, 10 of those and his 2nd form was less than half then another 10 shots of about 100-200 damage and then just had to hit him 2 or 3 times with my weapon to kill it. 2nd form is slow and easy to outrun, bait his lava spit thing to get a few good hits in. Bone Ash Set also reduces his damage by quite a bit. Think the hardest thing in this fight like most big bosses in this game is the camera.

I am not a fan of anything that DS2 does, so I cannot rightfully comment on SotFS as I refuse to give it another try. Being a fan of DS 1 though I much prefer BB's combat system.
However, I do not have a gun build (which would explain my main weapon damage) so even with Bone Marrow Ash I had no chance of doing that kind of damage from a distance.
My biggest problem with Laurence (other than the camera) was me being greedy and needing to get in that extra hit. Because I am all about that melee, I always had to be as close as possible, and in the lava phase that can cost you badly.

Salt and Sanctuary can be my souls fix until DS3 releases, can't continue with this, maybe I'll just watch the rest on youtube.
