@UmarB - Yeah I was very excited to see a physical edition! (kinda been holding off playing it till this release)

Next Physical I would like is Avowed - hope they release it for PS5!

Thanks fo listing Hi-Fi Rush guys, definitely wanna get a pre-order in for this. Perfect timing now that the publisher has switched from Microsoft to Krafton as well so I imagine no money will be going to MS for this lol

@Ghost, it's not a local release we need to import the stock. So with shipping and customs it takes longer.

Square Enix Making “Great Progress” on Kingdom Hearts 4 and Final Fantasy VII Make Part 3

Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts director and creator Tetsuya Nomura says that two of its current work-in-progress games are making “great progress”. According to Nomura, both Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 and Kingdom Hearts 4 are “on schedule”.

Fans are patiently waiting for updates on both of these games. However, Kingdom Hearts 4 is more under the spotlight given its premature announcement back in 2022. We haven’t seen or heard much about the game since then. Even Square Enix themselves have stated that perhaps the studio announced the project a little too early.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3, on the other hand, is set to close out the currently remake trilogy. Nomura said he will share more news about the game around the second anniversary of Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, which was this past weekend, but the news was nothing more than a “we’re making great progress on the game” update.

Still, any news is good news at this rate. In a live stream, Tetsuya Nomura said:

“Regarding Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3, Toriyama supposedly said we will have news around the time of the second anniversary of FF7 Ever Crisis. We are making great progress on the game. I can’t say anything else… but we are indeed making a lot of progress with the game. We already have decided when we will make the announcement as well, and we will stick to that time schedule. So don’t worry, but please wait for it.”

When commenting on Kingdom Hearts 4, the statement was pretty much the same thing. He says the game is “making great strides and is going according to schedule;

“On that same note, I’m seeing a lot of comments asking about Kingdom Hearts 4. We are making great strides and going according to schedule. So please wait for more information on that!”

It is still too early to tell what Square Enix plans to do with Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3. The first two parts were contracted to PlayStation consoles as timed exclusives. However, Rebirth, which is the second part, didn’t sell as well as Square Enix expected. Mainly due to the PS5 exclusivity. Whether the studio will do a multi-platform release right out of the gate isn’t clear yet.

As for Kingdom Hearts 4, who knows when the game will ever see the light of day.
