If I can give you some advice. Don’t worry about the time limit. It means nothing in the grand scheme of things. What you can do is, check which ending you want to get and make a hard save before it. Do your ending, reload and just take your time. The timer running out means almost nothing.

Even without doing that, there’s plenty of time in the game to do what you want.

Borderlands 3 Officially Announced

Gearbox Software has officially pulled the curtain back on Borderlands 3 in their recent PAX East showcase, confirming the game’s long-rumoured existence. The game seems like a natural evolution from the previous entries, re-introducing the same stylish flare and unique art that we’ve all come to know and love. However, they've also given us more eye-catching worlds to explore this time around. Check out the reveal trailer below:

Borderlands 3 will primarily be focused on four main classes as is the case with prior games, though it has not been confirmed yet if older characters will be playable - though the trailer does show off fan-favourite characters like Maya, Claptrap, and an older Tiny Tina, hinting that they might play a role in the main campaign.

Borderlands 3 promises over one billion randomly generated guns - including ones that can walk (yes, that's true) - and a few new armoured and speedy vehicles for traversal, including what appears to be a giant wheel controlled by the frame of a bike on the inside. It will be interesting to hear more about the characters and their respective classes, including the worlds we'll be able to explore (and loot), in the coming months.

Borderlands 3 does not have an official release date yet.

@Llama_Duck - if they've got the basics nailed down (which I reckon they do as it doesn't seem like they're deviating from the formula) they could add plenty of additional modes - hopefully while taking the piss out of modern conventions - and not be seen as following trends.

PAX East presentation issues aside, that a) looked damn good, and b) had nothing in it that looked like [censored] promotional material, totally non-representative of the final game. Reassuring considering Pitchford's reputation post-Colonial Marines.

Now I'm keen to see if they'll follow the prior Borderlands games post-launch support (a season pass with meaty DLC expansions and smaller events), rather than shoving in microtransaction crap (loot box character and weapon skins) like the rest of the big publishers?
