Hey @Tea, any chance you can organise a copy of Silent Hill Origins for me? Doesn't matter which platform

@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

I have played many co-op games being fortunate enough having friends that are as addicted to games as I am! But we seem to be running out of games to play

It would be great to hear which Co-op games have been your favorites and perhaps see which we have missed that might be worth the go

Some of my favorites have been:

Dying Light
Borderderlands 1 and 2
Portal 2
Dead island

The one that stands above all, Diablo 3, nothing come close to this games co-op experience.

I find this gen is still pretty limited when it comes to great co-op in AAA releases (especially local co-op) but it has some great downloadable titles available. Some of the game's I've played repeatedly over the last few years are:

This gen on PS4:

- Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls
- Divinity: Original Sin
- Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
- Guacamelee: Super Turbo Championship Edition
- Trine 1 and 2
- Star Wars Battlefront

Last gen on Xbox360 and PS3:

- Gears of War 1-3, Judgement
- Left 4 Dead 1 and 2
- Resident Evil 5 and 6
- Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
- Mass Effect 3's co-op multiplayer
- COD Modern Warfare 2 and 3 had some fun co-op "missions"
- Kane and Lynch 1 and 2 were much improved in co-op
- Hunted: The Demon Forge was unexpectedly good fun co-op

On PC:

- Torchlight 2
- Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War 2

I heard that the play structure in Divinity is more turn based than action like Diablo - How does that work co-op wise?

and how did you play Temple of Osiris co-op? We tried many many times (online), the game just doesn't function well, kept crashing and dropping players which is frustrating as from the little we could play, it seems rather fun...

Helldivers is really Fun!

Look it's not easy and the difficulty can pick up nicely with friends online but really good.... and the friend that gets in the way... Kill them!

Don't forget the Rayman Legend and Origin Games and what about Ratchet and Clank All 4 one! (for the other types on games) (PS3)

Sure! Just make sure to play Helldivers on PS4 and not Vita... Vita's a bit clunky, Ps4 controller just has a better feel to it.

@Tea - most of the PS4 games I've played couch co-op so haven't tested Temple of Osiris online.

For Divinity, the "dynamic splitscreen" only splits once the players are off screen from one another. For the combat, it seems to define a certain radius around an encounter which becomes a turn-based zone. If the 2nd player exploring another path or in a town, they still move freely or engage in their own turn based combat. There's even a rock-paper-scissors system choosing dialogue options as a pair.
