Babylon 5 Season 1. Time to see if my memories of lazy Sunday afternoons after school watching SABC2 are still good.

@Lurch I just started S1 and it is still damn good. S1 sets up the entire series very nicely. Also wasn't the show on etv? And you went to school on a Sunday?

@Magius, thanks for pointing out my awful wording. I should've said "Relaxing after a week of school". I'm trying to remember, it must have been grade 6 or 7 for me if I remember (96 or 97), maybe it was etv if it was established by then.

It always bugged me how I was forever missing an episode here and there and finally I found Season 1. I do remember it being very cool and quite epic by the end. I've been plowing through episodes of Stargate SG1 from a mate (he's mad about it though I'm not sure if it deserves all it's praise) and looking forward to something fresh.

Can;t wait for some old-school CGI. Started on Amiga-processors before "upgrading" to Pentium according to wiki. You just can't beat good old sci-fi.

@Lurch I still enjoy SG1, but yeah 10 years worth of the same 4 man team managing to save the universe is a bit of a stretch I find that Atlantis is a bit better, but that's because it was started in year 8 or 9 of SG1.

I had no idea that the CGI on B5 was initially created on Amiga's, wow. I recently finished off Star Trek:DS9 and while the CGI and model work was very good and still stands up you can now tell when they recycled scenes to cut costs. Watching B5 now and the CGI still looks great, not Avatar great, but still great.
