Pretty lame that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and 2 for that matter are just the switch games in a Switch 2 box with the upgrade pack. Would have been great if Nintendo released them as a proper Switch 2 release with the DLC in one complete package.
I don't feel old at all. My 1st PS1 games was Crash Bandicoot and Heart of darkness. I was like 8. But I still have like fond memories. And my PS1 still works
I can still recall picking up a knock-off 8-bit NES from the Bruma Lake flea-market. I was back in SA from Scotland and I think it was 1992 (a little late to the game as I think I got the Sega Genesis the next year which was already a few years old).
I still currently own a Sega Megadrive, still jam on it every now and then, but it goes to show, some old gen consoles still know how to keep us gaming for our generation.
Realised a couple of weeks ago that this year is the 20th year since matriculating and 10 years since I started at UCT with conversion course. Those two made me feel OLD.
I'm afraid that I'm not a Sonic or Mario fan. The first pc game I ever played and really enjoyed was Altered Beast. Loved that solid. Was over the moon when I finished it. Got obsessed with Lemmings for maybe a week, but lost interest when I realized I sucked at it. Did play on a games system at a friends house that totally rocked, but I can't remember the system or the games - so terribly sad and old. I have also come to realize that I actually hate nostalgia - not only does it feel as if I'm not moving forward at all, but it also feels as if I haven't done anything better with my life since then. Sorry if this doesn't contribute to the thread in a meaningful way.
