@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.
As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).
Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.
I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.
I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.
I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).
I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.
I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.
Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.
That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.
For niche titles it's okay. Problem is I play mainly bigger titles. Games are expensive enough as is. If I can save 50 bucks, use my ebucks (which some retailers allow) then I'm definitely going with another retailer.
Basically if I have to choose between paying delivery or not I'm going to go for not paying for delivery. On top of that, I find my Nexus orders are usually delayed. I don't think I've ever received a game on release day which is annoying when you're paying extra for delivery especially. And often you have to ask where it is which I don't think the customer should have to do, that's part of customer service.
Figured I would get the drop on this seeing as ps4 is launching soon and people are going to be wanting stuff to play on it.
Warframe is a "FREE TO PLAY" but "PAY TO WIN" set up MMO third person action game. You are a warframe:
A bad ass cyborg ninja that can run along walls, leap floors, slice enemies in half and shoot the[censored] out of everything. The purpose of the game is to clear out arena's of enemies.
There is a head to head mode for players to engage in. You can form squads of people to tackle certain enemies and there is MMO level end game raids to take part in.
For the most part you can earn virtually everything in Warframe the long way by earning credits and buying the parts and blue prints for new warframes. However you can also purchase platinum that then just lets you buy all the best stuff right away.
-------------------------------------------
The upgrading system in this game is really fun though, you unlock mod cards that you can then attach to your warframe to improve abilities like super jump or give you special abilities like calling down energy javlins.
------------------------------------------
The game is a lot of fun, reminds me sort of a ninjafied version of unreal tournament meets chaos legion. It's worth checking out.
I've got most of the Warframes, and I earned them the hard way.
The only problem I've had with this game is the devs have somehow managed to factor in how much I want something into the drop rates.
I really wanted to get the rifle multi-shot mod but struggled to find it, meanwhile I found 4 shotgun multi-shot mods and 1 pistol multi-shot mod.
only thing thats been annoying me so far is that they keep changing the interface and removing useful stuff while adding useless crap.
one used to be able to compare weapons when equipping them... not any more.
I'm part of a small 8 person clan and the only platinum I've purchased came with a Hunter founder's pack.
I spent it all on cosmetic items, 2 ~ 3 gold potatoes and some forma.
I tried it out on the PS4 and will play more. I actually like it, so far I have only done the starting few missions. I thought this game would be more PvP, but I like the fact that it's against AI with real team-mates. Maybe it changes later on, but for now that's all I have seen
PvP comes in the form of Conclaves and Clans.
I haven't tried Conclave so I don't really know much about it, except that any one can join in as long as their overall equipment level matches the Conclave level.
As for Clans PvP, each Clan gets a Dojo where they can construct different rooms.
1 of those rooms is a sparring room where you can fight clan mates (there's also a parkour obstacle course where you can race them).
Ok cool, but if I wanted to play the game as PvE only, can I do so? Are there enough missions to keep my busy? Or will I have to join a clan and start doing PvP
The game was originally meant to be PvE only.
They only added PvP because people kept asking for it.
However, it is recommended that you join a clan just because you can then get the clan research weapons and stuff.
There are plenty of clans that were created just for the research instead of the social aspects or for solo players.
Holly crap haven't played the game in ages and I finally got around to updating it and boy was I blown away from all the new content will take me a while to get use to it as I have to read up a bit on the new stuff.
For those that mite be interested the plains of eidolon update was released on console today and the download size is around the 5GB mark plains of eidolon has been available for around a month and seems to be getting some good impressions here's a link with more info. https://www.warframe.com/plains-of-eidolon-update
Also in other news earlier in the year at tennocon 1 lucky player was allowed to take control of the stalker and invade a game which led to the community asking for that feature to be added to the full game so if we lucky maybe at some point we will also be able to play as the stalker.
So I wanted to ask if there are still people here playing WarFrame?
Seeing the last post was 2017, Who's up and Who's playing?
I am starting soon (huge download on PC to start from scratch) and wanted to know if there is any Tenno still playing?
