Pretty lame that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and 2 for that matter are just the switch games in a Switch 2 box with the upgrade pack. Would have been great if Nintendo released them as a proper Switch 2 release with the DLC in one complete package.
No Man’s Sky is a game about exploration and survival in an infinite procedurally generated universe. Whether a distant mountain or a planet hanging low on the horizon, you can go there. You can fly seamlessly from the surface of a planet to another, and every star in the sky is a sun that you can visit. Where you’ll go and how fast you’ll make your way through this universe is up to you. It’s yours for the taking.
History
No Man's Sky has been in our heads for a very long time. In fact, it has its roots in Sean Murray's experiences growing up on a ranch in the Australian outback. It was the true middle of nowhere, where if something went wrong you were told to just stay where you were and light a fire at an exact time every day, and hope that someone would find you. The night sky was filled with more stars than you’ve ever seen, and we've all thought that this is exactly where videogames would go, videogames that contained the whole universe, and you’d be able to visit it all. No Man's Sky takes that jump - it's the game we've always wanted to make.

Such a small team making something this amazing.
They lost some development progress a while ago due to a flood in their area destroying some of their PCs. Insurance wouldn't cover the damages.
Word is Sony gave them a hand which is why this is a timed exclusive to the ps4. Dunno if that's true though.
No Man's Sky, the ambitious sci-fi game of exploration and discovery, will arrive on PC at some stage following its PS4 release.
Sean Murray, the managing director at No Man's Sky studio Hello Games, revealed he has plans to ship a PC edition following the PS4 release. The timing for the PC version is unclear, while an Xbox One edition has yet to be mentioned at all.
It's a persistent online world, so once discovered, these locations become available to others. Players will be able to make "significant changes" to locations - changes which will remain in effect for other players who follow.
I don't know what to make of this...in some instances I get excited, and in others I go "well that seems boring", yet, the game almost makes me "want it"
"Developer Hello Games built this probe because, at its core, No Man's Sky is so massive that its statistically insignificant team of four human artists can't control or oversee its creation. At best, they can audit some of what already happened and adjust accordingly.
So, instead of pure human oversight, No Man's Sky is governed by what art director Grant Duncan calls a team of thousands of "mindless idiots" — the computer code and algorithms that take the structure that he and his team created and turned that into a universe."
"It really is a universe, full of a myriad of stars. Each star has a solar system. And each solar system has planets. And planet-hopping — the process of traveling from planet to planet, solar system to solar system and galaxy to galaxy to explore and exploit — is perhaps the easiest gameplay mechanic to understand in No Man's Sky, a game whose whose other activities Hello Games has been deliberately tight-lipped."
