@Death - I'm sorry hear. It seems such a common awful disease for people and families to have to deal with. Like you say, supporting a cause like this - means so much to those afflicted by it.

@DEATHGIGAS
They have it listed here: https://nexushub.co.za/product/control-resonant-pid285827.html

Just keep in mind that the physical edition was delayed from Remedy's side, so releases like a month after digital.

Doesn't look as good as I thought it would, tuned in halfway and thought they where showing Uncharted 3

Really hoping this game returns to form, it's looking good.

Feel the same. Looks great. It's still alpha. But not impressed. This gens consoles are heavily underpowered. Sad though

Its actual pre-alpha.

ND are showing off the game in a state they would normally not show it. And even then it eclipses UC3.

You can see in the first shot how the wind ruffles Drakes hair and clothes.
The water that pours down on to him in the fight reacts rather well.
Environment looks bigger, plus you can clearly see it offers more than just a single linear path.
AI reacts better, not always knowing where Drake is at all times.
New hookshot mechanic for traversal and even for take downs.
Vastly improved melee.
Best upgrade so far: more dynamic climbing. you can see in the vid how climbing is not as mechanical or automatic as it used to be. the only issue is whether ND are going to offer up more scenarios where this dynamic climbing will come with more choices.

pre-alpha, and teh game is already employing better tech than UC3. I imagine it is going to look even better when it gets closer to release too.

UC3 still looks better than this pre-alpha. And it says a lot about how powerful the ps3 and an underpowered the PS4 is

I disagree that this is the case. I think for a pre-alpha, the game looks and runs at a far more impressive state than it should be, which is a positive sign that ND are going to make one impressive looking game.

It's Uncharted...it WILL look and be great! Every single UC game looked better than it's predecessor, although I still feel UC2 was the better game of the series, UC 3 still had the edge in the graphics department.

I have NO doubt UC4 will look even better than UC3 did! ND has never failed to give us a good UC game, they won't this time either

As for the PS4 being underpowered...well...I don't know so much! GTA V on the PS4 is a massive improvement on the PS3 version! And when I look at The Lords of the Fallen and Dragon Age, it once again shows the power of the PS4. From what I have also read about Dark Souls 2, it seems the PS4's power will once again shine over it's PS3 counterpart

The way I really saw how powerful the PS4 is, was by playing DCUO. DCUO is now almost unplayable on the PS3, it freezes every 10 minutes, kicks you out, excessive lag, graphics are dated, you can't fly in the cities as the city takes forever to load and open world content is useless as it takes around 60 - 120 seconds for enemies to appear, PvP as I believe is now completely unplayable oon the PS3, you get killed by "ghosts", loading is horrific in PvP. DCUO on the PS4 is the same as playing an offline Single player game, zero lag or open world loading issues, graphics are phenomenal and as I said, everything is instant, even in 16 man PvP instances there are no issues! So disagree that the PS4 is underpowered!

Why do people immediately assume that because a game is said to look bad in terms of graphics that automatically means the game will be bad?

No one is saying the game will be or is bad but it definitely does not look like anything they tried to hype up. Off the defensive wagon people, pretty sure everyone in this thread loves the Uncharted series.

It's definitely an area ND should change which is how scripted everything in the Uncharted series was.
A bit more open world choices would be great and not just linear climbing sections and more exploration would be great.
The puzzle sections also need ten fold improvements.

Well I think they need to keep set pieces in because UC usually has pretty good ones. Just increase the versatility of everything else.

Oh yeah puzzles... some more intricate works in this department would be welcome too. But I guess its not really a strong aspect of the series either.

I think in Uncharted, more would equal more so of course set pieces are historically their strong point but off the beaten path stuff would be appreciated.

Granted the puzzles have not been a strong point what they have done in the past is left a lot to be desired. Would really hope for Castlevania type puzzles - something mind numbing

LOL guys, I'm reminded of someone's rather colourful comment in the DAI thread about body parts/orifices, seems we can substitute Bioware for Naughty Dog here.

Anyway I'm looking forward to it even if UC3 sucked a 'tiny weeny' bit since UC2 was one of the 10 best games ever ...

Well I am totally pyched for this! It looks freaking amazing. The new climbing mechanic isn't too far what we have seen other games do but they seem to have added it seemlilessly to the exist mechanics.

Those plants! and the plant cover mechanic!! looks damn good!

And did Drakes head/hair react to the water in that fight at 08:30? Was that scripted? If not that is amazing

That grappling hook swing thing in the fight!!! OMG this looks like so much fun!

lol @ the accents
