So what does everyone hope to see from Nintendo this year?

While Nintenod won't be having an E3 conference this year again they will have a special ninendo E3 direct as they did last year. They will also be holding a Super Smash Bros special invitational tournamet and will have demos at best buys around America so we can expect some great footage of the game during this period.

I am quite happy with the current games coming up for release, there is a lot of games coming that are sure to be top contenders, I am hoping for a Bayonetta 2 release date in Europe as I think it's time we got this.

Zelda U needs to get an announcement trailer and I am hoping it stays away from any gimmicks like motion controls, use the Wii U pad for inventory and such and keep it like the older games control scheme.

A new Metroid game, either a 3D game or 2D platformer. If 3D I would be happy with a game in the same vein as Other M. As for a 2D platfromer I'd be happy with a remake of Super Metroid

I don't expect any new IP's to pop up, honestly Nintendo have made some of the greatest IP's in gaming history, they just need to take that and build on it, also bring back F-Zero, that gme in 1080p will be fantastic.

Oh and a release date for X please

And finally I would love for them to utilize their online store and give us demos of some of their E3 games, they don't have to be latest builds but lets us try Bayonetta 2, Mario Kart 8 *it's out before E3*, X etc

I am hoping for a solid slate of game announcements with release dates stretching from Sept/Oct to early next year. The WiiU needs more regular releases. I think that this E3 is going to be the most exciting for quite some time across all platforms and I cannot wait.

Mainly just hoping to see something about Zelda U, Bayonetta 2 and X.

New info on new Zelda game would be awesome.

Plus some new game annoucements wouldn't hurt either

I'd primarily go for a price cut for the Wii U, especially now that competing with the PS4/XB1.

I'd also like to see a standardised Nintendo Network with all their classic e-store stuff available on 3DS and Wii U.

Finally I'd really like to see some downloadable N64 and GameCube titles. They've got plenty of NES/SNES titles but as someone who had a Playstation during the N64/GameCube period, I'd love to have access to games from that era.

Considering the situation Nintendo is in with the WiiU (underperforming) and the 3DS (slowing sales) I somewhat expect them to have the best showing.

I expect Zelda WiiU t be announced for 2015, and for SMTxFE and X to be pushed back to 2015.
Pokemon Tournament (Pokken fighters being the same thing) will be the big NFC game Nintendo has planned.
Miyamoto will announce a brand new IP.
A 3rd party exclusive from Japan. Not Platinum or Mistwalker (both making X1 exclusives I think).
Some indie montage.
Will mention they have some 3rd party support and show off montage of multiplat games

I think a new castlevania game would up to konami not nintendo. Also the castlevania producer just left konami. Probably got sick and tired of all the lords of shadow shovelware they've been churning out

eh, LoS 1 was actually pretty fun.

Need to see a proper pokemon game for the Wii U as well, and by proper I do not mean battle stadium.

I can see a playable Zelda happening, I mean we know that game has been in development for ages, it would also spark a lot of interest having a playable build and even more if they could announce a 2015 release.

The Xenogears I think is fake, Square Enix owns that IP so I don't see how Monolith Soft would be able to use the name unless it isn't X and is a Square game.

Interested to see what Pokkin fighters is all about since that leaked image we got ages ago, made it look like a 3D type fighter similar to the Naruto games.

I call BS on Castlevanie SOTN2 what the hell are they going to do with that? SOTN ended without much to go after it.

That 'leak' is fake.

Xenogears (SE IP) and Watchdogs gameplay (even though it releases before E3) should have given that away.
