I sincerely hope AWX will have those Special Editions available (if those items will be available outside of Japan of course)

US only gets retailer specific DLC (apparently a first for Ninty)

It's really sucky that Nintendo decided to do Retailer exclusives though.. Apparently the DLC Packs will be split up, so if I understand correctly you won't be able do get all the DLC unless you buy like 3 copies of the game. (I may be understanding this wrong though)

All in all I know it's just Costume DLC packs, but it's still kinda sucky if you ask me

Also, regarding the distribution of these packs Nintendo had this to say:

All additional costumes will become available for purchase in the Nintendo eShop in the near future. Further details on timing and pricing will be announced at a later time.

Also, just in case anyone missed it. If you Pre-order Hyrule Warriors at AWX you'll get the Twilight Princess Costume Pack for free

Ironic thing. There is going to be an album for GTA6. And it will be available on both CD and Vinyl.

So clearly it's about control for Sony and Rockstar, not wanting you to own games. But you can own a CD and Vinyl. Both are crappy companies. I really want to see Sony crash and burn so hard. But the way Sony is going, it might be sooner, rather than later.
