@Richter

I do recommend Replicant. But the original PS3 release is something I have a massive soft spot for. I bought it on release and it looked kind of dated and didn't look great.

But the story and especially the soundtrack is what blew me away. What an amazing game till this day. Except grinding my ass off for the platinum to upgrade all my weapons.

They did make the grinding easier in Replicant. I highly recommend it, you're going to love it.

Yeah tempted to try it after every one seems to point to this as the better alternative to Anthem. May just DL it this weekend and give it a go

Ah ok, that's probably why I have never put any time into it. Bugger, may just try Destiny 2 on PC since I got a code with Humble Bundle some months back

The grind in Destiny 2 is similar to Warframe, although it feels a bit more stylized and rounded.

I was looking at Desitiny as well. But with some research I just find it that the team at DE is working with the community and adding then working against your bank account for updates and DLC. If you can pay, great, pay and get awesome stuff but the buy now items gets moved over to "get now" after new things are added. I hear great things about the open world area for the game that added and allot of customization for each player.

Had a convo with a good friend about Destiny 2 and Warframe and Anthem, in the end, we ended up with a basic idea of:
Play Warframe, wait for Anthem to fix it's problems, and if you can Destiny 2 (without DLC) for the in between. (DLC on special allot) and if you want to sink money into a game to "skip" grind, might as well a game with a good track record of listening to its players and full help! AKA Warframe.

I liked the 1st destiny with all the DLC but as I wanted to get into D2, it kinda felt like redoing destiny 1's grind all over (well my opinion)

also, i know the game does not hold your hand after the 1st mission so there is allot and allot to say about a game where you have to follow Wiki's to better understand...

Warframe doesn't really hold your hand at all, but it's a good idea to join a clan ASAP so you have people you can rely on for help in missions.

Also, for Destiny 2, just get the Forsaken edition of the game, it comes with a bunch of the DLC.

So I've checked a lot of comments online about this game, far more positives than negatives, which is a good thing but also feels like fanboy comments as there's not really any or many negatives about this game. My (gripe) question to anyone who's playing this, does the variety in terms of areas change eventually or at end game? I've been playing for a few hours now and I find each area is almost exactly the same as the previous area, Sure the enemies change and you might have more lefts than rights as well as the one area is sunny and the other snowy, but it truly doesn't feel that different.

I'd like to give the game it's fair chance, but I'm also not keen on spending 30 hours in this game and the areas still feel no different than it did in my 1st 2 hours.
