I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).
I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.
I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

no its all 3D all models, they just did some really good cel shading and they did a really good job of getting that jerky animation look you get in 2D games, have to say its the 2.5D fighter i've ever seen and i usually cringe the minute i see anything that uses anything other than 2D sprites but i guess if anyone was finally gonna make a decent 2.5D fighter it would be arcsys, take notes capcom. i thought this game would get a lot of backlash for using cel shading but everyone actually seems pretty happy

heard some pretty disturbing news in this video
first impressions of guilty gear xrd from the loke test are that the game plays like Marvel !disappoint !disappoint !disappoint !disappoint !disappoint
not quite sure what they mean by that so don't want to panic just yet but i don't see how that can possibly be a good thing. all i keep thinking is that they've dumbed the game down to A>B>C combos. i hope FRC's are still there...
at least that means the game is a lot more accessible to newer players so hopefully the GG scene will grow. i wasn't a fan of how many character specific combos GG had because that dumb weight system hope they take that out, it was really stupid that you had to have 5-10 different variations of every combo for it to work on the entire cast. it was just way too much work
still can't wait to get my hands on this game X)
