Yes, the East Rand Mall isn't what it used to be anymore. But it's nice to get out of Secunda for a change. Our mall here seriously sucks.

People complaining about not enough dams during water shortages and now they complain when they're given more.

Government just can't win.

@IkariX That hole is filled with water, might as well call it a lake now.

I used to go to the mall every weekend back in the day.
But all the good shops have closed.

Yes, that hole sucks, and it sucks having to take the side road now. Because even that is starting to look like crap.

Me and my sister go to the East Rand Mall and flea market regularly. We have a mall where I live, but it's[censored].

We also have a giant hole here in Boksburg.
Sinkhole took out a whole road, been 3 years, still not fixed.
Think they should also make it an attraction now.

Ratchet and Clank: A Rift Apart - Even got the Plat, which was very easy to get. All I can say is, INCREDIBLE!!! If you have a PS5, planning to get one or still awaiting your order of one, GET THIS GAME! You won't be disappointed, all the R&C games are very good, but this game was just a step above the rest in every single way.

Horizon Zero Dawn + Frozen Wilds - At one point I just felt so disconnected from this game, I couldn't decide whether I enjoyed it or not...in the end, it ended up being one of the best Action, Adventure games I've played in many years. It really is hard to fault this game, the only thing that was overkill for me, was the amount of dialog when it came to side quests, so much so that I just skipped all the dialog and just accepted the quest, completed it and moved on. Other than that, fantastic game!!!!!

Halo Anniversary
Can't play the new one, so replayed the first one.
Still great, aged very well. Just lots of the same corridors.
That last mission with the Warthog is still a pain in the @$$!!

Exit - The Stormy Flight
My wife and I am both playing our 1st few Exit games (Board/Card/Table Top Game)
This is really like a Escape Room in a box at home.

The only thing I don't like is the fact that some cards are destroyed and cut up or folded and cut to get the answers, so if you ever want to do these games, make sure to have trace paper on hand as it really help. Also, one playthrough only as after that you know the answers. So this is a great "pass-on" game. Once we are done with the 1st, will give it to a couple in our game group to enjoy and pass on.

Alan Wake
Replayed on Xbox360.
I got the CE, so no point in upgrading to the remaster for slightly better graphics.
Still an excellent game! Can't wait to see the new one!!

Industria

An indie but impressively cinematic walking-sim/FPS hybrid. A fascinating setup as a researcher flees from East Germany during the end of the Cold War era into another world - a Scandinavian-inspired city overrun with robots. The balance of exploration, puzzling, and shooting is pretty good in the first half but there's too much combat by the end and the plot goes off the rails. Worth a look though if you've got an Xbox Game Pass sub as it's only 4-5 hours long.

Bully Anniversary Edition
85% complete
20hours 32mins
Played Bully on PS2 when it came out back in the day.
This edition on the 360, is much better.
Graphics are nice & colourful now, & less jaggies. Plus bonus missions.
& no we won't get a Bully 2. A game about bullys is not PC

Remnant: From the Ashes + the Subject 2923 DLC

Despite picking this up to support Gunfire Games (with the chance of more Darksiders!) I've been putting this off for ages after several rough starts that combined Souls-like progression with potential RNG roadblocks. 20-hours later, with a bit of coop but mostly solo adventuring, I quite enjoyed it after the initial difficulty bump. It's one of those games where if you tackle all the content seeded in each region, it keeps you on or above the difficulty curve so it's never too frustrating (Normal for your first run solo, Hard is a better pick if you're always going to have a team).

Shooting is competent, weapon mods are powerful, and you're always earning XP towards traits (think passive upgrades like health, resistances, damage output), or you're getting scrap and crafting resources to build or upgrade gear. They've also added a fantastic "adventure mode" where you can run mini-regions to get crafting components or discover encounters the RNG seeding skipped in your campaign (and you can jump back into your campaign without a hitch). It felt like a solid 7/10 like the Darksiders games. Good not great, mechanically fun but nothing novel. A single playthrough is also only 15 or so hours - so bonus points for not wasting time.

If you want more, there are also higher difficulties with greater rewards, a wave-based survival mode with its own mini-progression system, or you can just keep rerolling adventures. Budget but impressive.

Star Wars The Force Unleashed Sith Edition
Played the vanilla one back in the day.
Sith Edition has some nice DLC.
Still a great SW game, although the graphics are aging a bit. & the controls are a bit fiddly.

Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2
Big improvement in the looks department & the controls.
But man, SO repetitive!! & almost none existent story.
Good game, but you can see this was a cash in after the success of the first game.

Dying light 2- great fun, graphics are okay was hoping they would have fixed that by now, had some sound issues, don't feel like they gave 2 and much love as they did Dying light 1. Still good fun. Combat is great and movement is a little tough to get used to but its doable . About a 7 out of 10..

Spider Man Web of Shadows
Played on PS3.
Not bad, voice acting was terrible though.
Not much to do in the open world, no side quests.
Swinging around the city was good, controls were okay.
Story is okay. Lots of familiar faces showing up, Moon Knight, King Pin, Black Cat, Venom, Wolverine ect.
You can change between the black & classic suit on the fly. Went all black, got the bad ending. The good/bad choices were okay.
Game has aged not too badly, bit of screen tearing, but load times are good.

Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy
Excellent game, must play.
Unfortunately, its riddled with bugs.
Game looks great, story is great, voice acting is top notch!!!!
Gameplay is good. Playing as Star Lord & commanding the others works well.
The collectables are outfits from the movies & comics.
The music is awesome, classic 80s tunes.
There are some choices to make in the story, which affects some outcomes. So a second playthrough on new game plus is worth it.
Loading times are a bit long when you die, but you won't die a lot. Game is super easy.
Like I said, LOTS of bugs/glitches. Even a game braking one. Needed to re map the controller for a work around.
