Yes, the East Rand Mall isn't what it used to be anymore. But it's nice to get out of Secunda for a change. Our mall here seriously sucks.

People complaining about not enough dams during water shortages and now they complain when they're given more.

Government just can't win.

@IkariX That hole is filled with water, might as well call it a lake now.

I used to go to the mall every weekend back in the day.
But all the good shops have closed.

Yes, that hole sucks, and it sucks having to take the side road now. Because even that is starting to look like crap.

Me and my sister go to the East Rand Mall and flea market regularly. We have a mall where I live, but it's[censored].

We also have a giant hole here in Boksburg.
Sinkhole took out a whole road, been 3 years, still not fixed.
Think they should also make it an attraction now.

Tony Hawks American Wasteland
Played it on PS2 back in the day, again now on the 360.
The last good Tony Hawks game that game out. Besides the resent remake of 1 & 2.

Zombi
PS4 port of the ZombiU game.
GREAT survival horror FPS game!!!!
Haven't played a spooky game like this in a long time!
You will jump at least once or twice! The Nursery
Good story & well thought through gameplay.
You can save your game at save houses, & unlock fast travel locations.
When you die the game auto saves, & you start with a new character. Makes no difference who you get given to play with. They could have given different skills to the characters you play as. Like a cop with better aiming, or a athlete with more stamina.
Your progress is saved, up to that point. & you go back to where you died, kill that that one & loot all your stuff back. & continue on where you left off.
I went though 12 characters in my 9hours 20mins play though.
3/4 of them are in one area where you get caught by humans. Fear the living, not the dead!
Lots of guns, never had a problem with ammo & health.
Theres no crafting, pretty straight forward game.
Doesn't look to bad, considering its a old WiiU game.
Game can be cheap at times, but damn its good.

Gears of War
Third time finishing this game.
Two single player & one split screen co-op play through.
Gameplay still holds up very well.
Game still looks good, but if it was in black & white I doubt anybody would notice.

Gear of War 2
Considering this game came out in 2008, WOW it still looks fantastic!!
Game play is still topnotch, just like the first game. Also a lot more colourful.
Story is great, does get pretty dark at places.
Also third play through. 2 single play through & 1 co-op.

Elden ring - never has a game had me so engrossed! I only got one ending and it was the bad one lol! Still I just don’t have the time to get em all! Time for HFW and Ghostwire. All i can say is Elden ring is the best game ever made!

Not sure how many of the Souls games you've played, but I still believe Dark Souls 1 is the best FromSoftware game ever made.

I am really enjoying Elden Ring myself, but I do tend to miss the more linear approach from the previous games. Don't get me wrong, the open world and being able to explore vast maps in Elden Ring is a nice new touch, and I do find myself exploring more than I guess I should, which results in me being OP by the time I do get to a Boss, which has me down them in no time at all. Thus far, from Open World/Dungeon Bosses to Main bosses, it's taken me 3 or less attempts to kill them by myself. I have yet to find a Boss that's actually difficult to beat, not that they are not hard, but the open world tends to be the games Easy and Difficult setting, if that makes sense.

I am now exploring a lot, so on my next 20+ playthroughs I don't need to. Hopefully that will have me level slower and making the game a little more challenging, that is why we play FromSoftware's games, to DIE Well at least that's why I love them

Malenia, Blade of Miquella had me raging lol! but i guess this game was more for the people that never could get into Dark Souls or games like them. It definitely more accessible for noobs like me who loved dark souls games but have never been able to finish any of them .I going to jump back into Demon Souls as soon as i can get those last two endings lol.

What I love about these games is that even after you stop playing, you still playing, I am always reading up about things I missed or better ways of playing, how to improve. The game just keep living on even after I turn the TV off.

Well Praise the Sun Tarnished, I hope all your victories are sweet.

No where near as good as the first three.
This is more of an arcade spin off, with a bit of a story.
Still fun, & as always great looking.

Never played the first DMC.
Good, pretty easy on normal though.
Hasn't aged that well. Game looks good here & there, but in other places not so much. Dante's movement is also very stiff.

Devil May Cry 2
Dante 3hours
Lucia 2hours
Trish 2hours
Played it back on PS2, wasn't good then, a total joke now lol
Its aged better then DMC1, in the looks department. & Dante's movement is not so stiff anymore.
Everything else is terrible, super generic & no creativity whatsoever.
The "bosses" are a joke. Just stand in the corner & shoot.
Lucia's playthrough is at least a little different from Dante's, with a different boss at the end. Who you can beat on one health bar, no items & that boss has to forms!
Trish is unlockable. She plays through Dante's missions, just with different weapons.

Moving Out PS4
Played it so much in Lockdown and only saw the new 23 Levels DLC yesterday.
So it's basically Moving In (DLC)
Unpack & place the items in the same levels you already know.
Really fun but damn, Wife and I are missing a few Perfect scores and its by like 3 seconds.
Physics based games as really fun but not for all couples and friends groups.
Looking at Overcooked 2 or All you can eat on PS4 Next.

Elden Ring - I enjoyed it but the open world style isn't for me, it's the 2nd bottom of the list for Souls games but even the worst Souls game is better than 95% of games anyway so worth a play through.

I have yet to finish it, I'm nearing the end now, shouldn't take long to finish it. But I kind of agree with you, the open world become monotonous at times. On my 1st play through I was trying to explore as much as possible so that on my 2nd playthrough I don't need to explore as much, but after a mate of mine told me that there's over 150 bosses in the game (Excluding duplicates), I found myself gunning to get to the end.

I'm all for smashing bosses and replay value that games offer, but that's just ridiculous. I refuse to use guides in games until after my 3rd play through (Mostly Souls games, there's not many games I play more than once), but I have now stopped exploring in Elden Ring, heading for the end and then I'll do a playthrough with the help of a guide to see if I can beat all bosses in a single playthrough, to do an unguided 2nd playthrough ain't happening, the exploring gets a bit much, the game is just too big imo. ER for the most part is a lot of fun though, but I do prefer the more linear experience that previous Souls Games offered. I also find the bosses "easy'ish" compared to other Souls games (Ornstein and Smough ).

When you say you place ER 2nd from the bottom, you mean all (Fromsoftware) Souls Games, or 2nd from the bottom when it comes to ALL Souls "Type" Games? I'd agree with the Fromsoftware Games, buy not all Souls "Type" games, there's been some seriously crappy carbon copy Souls Games. And yes, I agree with this "even the worst Souls game is better than 95% of games anyway so worth a play through"

Devil May Cry 3
Dante 10 hours 55mins
Vergil 3hours 30 mins
Great game back when, still awesome today!
The jump from DMC2 to DMC3 is HUGE!! Aged very well, combat especially.
Lots of backtracking though. Out of the 20 missions, they could have easily cut it down to 15 or so.
Vergil's playthrough is also the same as Dante's. They could have done a slightly different playthrough for him, like Lucia in DMC2.
So my list from best to worst...
DMC4 SE
DMC5
DmC Reboot
DMC3
DMC1
DMC2

Elden Ring - The more and more I played this game, the better and better the game got. Out of all the Fromsoftware games, I'd rate this as my Nr2 (Bearing in mind that I have still to finish Demons Souls). I got to play the 1st 35 Hours on PS4, then my PS5 arrived. Believe me, from loading times to actual graphics, it was a remarkable difference, really made the game feel a lot better than it already was. This was one of those rare occasions when I finished a game and was sad that it ended. There are a few things I would change, 1 being (And a major one imo) exploring and killing things in the open world should reward far less Ruins, I know some would say "What's the point of exploring then?" and I get that, but the open world levels a person way too quick, the when you get to a Legacy Dungeon you are too overpowered which makes it a cake walk.

Due to the latter, Bosses were just too damn easy for a "Souls" game, only 3 bosses that had me fuming and foaming from the mouth were:

1.) Commander Niall - Those Spectral Knights, ugh...

2.) Godskin Noble (Volcano Manor)

3.) Elden Beast - Only until I managed to get to the Elden Beast with an almost full health Mimic , then he was pretty easy.

Also note that I missed a few bosses on my 1st playthrough so can't comment on all the bosses in the game, using a guide for my 2nd playthrough to hopefully beat them all.

All and all, fantastic game! Especially for those who found the previous Souls Games too frustrating, this is quite a nice entry for new comers. With what you learn from this game, it will easily help you to get to grips with the older Souls Games, I would highly recommend Elden Ring to anyone.
