@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.
DarkwingDuck

For niche titles it's okay. Problem is I play mainly bigger titles. Games are expensive enough as is. If I can save 50 bucks, use my ebucks (which some retailers allow) then I'm definitely going with another retailer.

Basically if I have to choose between paying delivery or not I'm going to go for not paying for delivery. On top of that, I find my Nexus orders are usually delayed. I don't think I've ever received a game on release day which is annoying when you're paying extra for delivery especially. And often you have to ask where it is which I don't think the customer should have to do, that's part of customer service.

Wii U version has Mario and Luigi anyway who cares about the vita version lol. It will be on PS+ for Vita after 3 months anyway since that console is failing so hard and has nothing to play

funny, since the PSV has been consistency outselling that WiiU you like to hold upon a pedestal, this year.

Anyways, PSV version of Origins was def the best version save for the complete lack of MP , which was weird. Which is why I am sticking with the PSV version for Legends.

Besides, I am hoping they price legends the same way as Origins in Japan, picked up the game day one at like 50% off the normal price of a game. What a great standard price that was.

Rayman Legends lacking content on Vita

Rayman Legends on the Vita is not quite as complete as what you would get if playing on any of the other consoles. Released to pretty much all main consoles last week, the portable version of Ubisoft’s wacky platformer lacks any of the Invasion levels found on PS3, 360 and Wii U.

Invasion levels are a series of challenging speedruns designed to put even the best of you through your paces. These levels are considered to be the most challenging, yet rewarding levels in the game. The omission of these levels on Vita is unfortunate to say the least and fans who bought the portable version are feeling pretty hard done by right about now.

To be fair though, there are Murphy specific challenges on Vita that are not on the PS3 and 360, but that is due to the lack of a touchscreen on said systems, not hardware limitations.

If you truly want everything Rayman Legends has to offer then your best bet is to buy it on the Wii U which includes the Invasion levels, and the Murphy challenges.

Ubisoft has yet to respond to queries on the matter of the missing Vita levels.

Wii U definitive version? Seems so.

Vita has barely any games so this will probably go to PS+ in 2 months.

Have to disagree. I have had a PSV since Day 1 and besides UC: Golden Abyss and MK9, I haven't found anything yet for that system. I use it to play old JRPGs and am looking forward to newer games (Dragon's Crown and Borderlands 2), but at the moment it isn't a well supported system. Just like the Wii U in fact.

Keep deluding yourself on the PSV front if you want.

As for Rayman PSV lacking content... that is seriously concerning considering how good a port Origins was. This is not good news because its clear that Ubisoft are being poor on the conversion to PSV. The PSV card can carry all the data so that is not the issue.

Dropping those levels makes no sense when they kept the redone levels from Origins. Those should have been dropped first.

Will have to wait and see what Ubisoft says about this. Sucks for people who wanted to pick this up on PSV (which on other forums appeared to be many people)

So instead of been sarcastic, maybe you could recommend a game two?

The Vita has no must have games. There really isn't anything you can recommend to people.

It's exclusives are laughable.

It basically goes, do you like the Uncharted series? if yes then get Golden Abyss if no move on.

Do you want to try something different but with really crappy controls? If yes try Gravity Rush if no move on.

And that is it lol.

The only really great game on it is Muramasa which isn't out in our stores yet and it's the reason I bought a Vita so I could take in on the move and play the dlc chapters which never seem to be coming out lol.

Device has potential but it seems developers don't.

I wasn't.

That said, I forget what type of games you like.

I think Gravity Daze is worth checking out. Open world, interesting gravity mechanics and very Japanese. Contrary to what DP will make you believe the controls are not that bad at all. If there is anything about the controls that are bad it would be the sliding being controlled by the gyrosensors of the PSV.
Otherwise pretty unique, and from Team Siren (Siren games)

There is Soul Sacrifice which is a variant of the MonHun type genre. If I recall it is actually a game DP hyped and enjoyed playing a lot of (though conveniently decides to not mention this). I have not had time to import it but I played the English demo, I played it at TGS. Definitely a lot of fun if you want more action/ adventure than hunting.

If you like fighting, MvsC and SFxT are pretty solid ports (better than MK). The latest versions of GG and BB also.

Persona 4 if you never played the PS2 version, Hot Shots Golf if you enjoy the series, best version of LBP is on PSV, Gucamelee and Dragons Crown play well on the PSV.
There is Sound Shapes, the sound focused platformer title. Virtues Last Reward.

One title I highly recommend for PSV is Dokuro. An absolute gem of a handheld game as far as I am concerned. Lovely graphical style, nice little story. Easy to play but many of the levels are fairly difficult (especially puzzles). Levels are designed for handheld and there are over 70 of them (from what I recall)

I mean, a lot is based on opinion and the PSV is lacking software, but to say there is hardly any good games to play on the PSV is just factually wrong imo.

Lol totally forgot about Soul Sacrifice game is awesome if you have 3 friends to play with, if not then don't bother. The game also has a good amount of DLC as far as I know, I stopped playing so the last DLC pack I got was when they added one of the new sacrifices. Think the online locally is probably completely dead.

The PSV version will be getting a patch later on that will add the missing Invasion Mode and lots of other stuff:
"Due to a longer development time than expected, we couldn’t initially include the Invasion Mode – essentially, a second take on existing Rayman Legends maps -- in the Vita version of the game. However, we can confirm that the Invasion Mode will be added via a free patch, at a later date. With more than 100 levels, online Coop and challenges, Kung-Foot mini-game, 5 exclusive touch challenges developed specifically for the Vita and 2 exclusive costumes, Rayman Legends already includes a lot for customers to love, and features the same outstanding graphics and gameplay design as the home console versions."

I know most of these aren't exclusives, but currently on my vita is:
Rayman Origings, Guacamelee!, Thomas was Alone, Jetpack Joyride, Retro City Rampage, Killzone Mercenary Beta, Hotline Miami, Stealth Inc, Urban Trial Freestyle, New Little King's Story, AC3 Liberation, Spelunky and Jak & Daxter Trilogy. Many of these games comes with PS+, which makes the PSV worth it all on its own in my opinion.
Also the following PSone games: Castlevania SOTN, Final Fantasy 5 and 6, Tomba! and Rayman 1 (Rayman 1 is free with the Rayman Legends Pre-Order).

Some of the games I also have backed up on my PC:
Lumines, Mutant Blobs Attack, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Lego LOTR, Jet Set Radio, Sine Mora, Knytt Underground, Persona 4 Golden, Rocketbirds, Dead or Alice 5 Plus, Limbo, Escape Plan, Gravity Rush, Unit 13, Sound Shapes and Playstation All-Stars.

But yeah I agree there are no games on the PSVita.

So now that we know why it is no in the initial game and will be there via free patch, PSV back to superior version . so nice.

though I might need to import/ get off PSN since I think only yhe WiiU version comes to Japan. At double the price of Origins. Good luck selling that.

But yeah I agree there are no games on the PSVita.

That is a pretty massive list to say the PSV has no games.

np!

Btw, what was the ratio of paid dlc to free dlc. I recall seeing a lot of stuff added to the game for no extra charge.

All the DLC was free as far as I know, it was only the online pass that people had to pay for if you bought 2nd hand.
