@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though )

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

For niche titles it's okay. Problem is I play mainly bigger titles. Games are expensive enough as is. If I can save 50 bucks, use my ebucks (which some retailers allow) then I'm definitely going with another retailer.

Basically if I have to choose between paying delivery or not I'm going to go for not paying for delivery. On top of that, I find my Nexus orders are usually delayed. I don't think I've ever received a game on release day which is annoying when you're paying extra for delivery especially. And often you have to ask where it is which I don't think the customer should have to do, that's part of customer service.

I don't own a PS4 or an X1, nor will I own any of them anytime soon. I cannot disagree how good this game looks and as much as I love Bayonetta, there's NO way I'll EVER own a WiiU. Call me a "fake" Gamer or a "Semi" gamer, but a WiiU has NO appeal to me in any way.

Or just someone who doesnt like a Wii U?

I at this current in moment in time have little to no desire to own a Playstation 4 or vita, there is absolutely nothing exclusive to those systems I want.

Yet I am so excited about the new nintendo stuff I had trouble sleeping. Does that make me a fake gamer?

There's no need to make a fashion statement out of not wanting a console.

I didn't mean for it to sound like a "fashion statement", I'm just salty cause a game I would LOVE to play has been made exclusively for a console I don't want

If I could borrow a WiiU just to play Bayonetta 2, then I would for sure!!! But I won't buy one.

And like you Woofels, right now I also have no desire to own a PS4 or an X1. There are games coming out on PS4 next year that'll make me buy a PS4, but right now it has no appeal to me.

The original Bayonetta will include a few console-exclusive costumes. Players will be able to dress the eponymous witch up like Princess Peach, Link from The Legend of Zelda or Samus Aran from Metroid in the Wii U port of Bayonetta. Some of her hair-based attacks will include Nintendo-themed variations. She'll be able to summon Bowser's foot through a portal, for example.

Haha I am going to be able to kick an Angel in the face with Bowser's foot amazing.

Bayonetta 1 Wii U new features:

Bayonetta, originally released in 2010, introduced an explosive blend of dynamic action and saucy style. Now all the action comes to the Wii U at 60 fps—and
it'll leave you breathless.

You can use the Wii U GamePad controller's touchscreen and a stylus to control the action in both Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2.

You can play using just the GamePad screen, without having to use your TV.
Japanese-language option

Choose between English and Japanese audio tracks, and select either English or Japanese subtitles to accompany the voiceovers.

Additionally in online quick matches, you’ll be able to wager Halos, the in-game currency earned by defeating enemies. If you can prove that you’re a better fighter than your partner, you’ll earn a large number of Halos back.

Halos can then be traded in story mode to unlock new techniques, buy new accessories, and pick up alternate weapon variations.

Isao Negishi, director of the Bayonetta Wii U port had the following to say.

Those who saw our Wii U Bayonetta announcement at E3 can agree we didn’t just make a simple port of the first game. This special Wii U edition gives you all the thrills of the original, plus a ton of exciting, new features.

Let’s discuss some of the added content that was causing a stir at this year’s E3: Bayonetta’s new costumes!

One of the things that made the original Bayonetta so fun was the ability to choose from a ton of costumes—queen, schoolgirl, you name it—and this time, there’ll be even more. These new costumes are inspired by classic Nintendo heroes and heroines, all carefully checked by the game’s original director, Hideki Kamiya. Let’s just say Kamiya was very particular about how each costume should look before passing approval.

Of course, these costumes are more than just a fun change in appearance. We’ve prepared special abilities to go with each one!

Put on your Peach costume and you’ll be able to summon the flagship villain of the Mario series, Bowser!

Maybe she didn’t draw a big enough magic circle, because it looks like we can only see his arms and legs, LOL. Yet watching Bowser pummel enemies with punches and kicks is a sight to behold. That first thrill you get when Bowser slams the enemy with his fist is quite an unforgettable experience.

Personally, I love the stomp attack he has… and don’t forget to call him out during some of the climax scenes as well.

All right, next is Link.

By equipping the Shuraba with Link’s costume on, Bayonetta will be able to use the iconic weapon of the Zelda series, the Master Sword! Wicked Weaves will create a giant Master Sword that slices enemies clean in two.

This costume also changes some of the sound effects in the game. Remember that classic Zelda jingle that plays every time you open a treasure chest? With this costume on, you’ll get to hear it! We’ve included a few other sound effects well, all taken from A Link to the Past with Nintendo’s permission. Those classic sounds really do still hold up.

Last is our Samus costume!

Samus has gone through more than a few powered suits in the Metroid series, but we ended up using the first game as our motif, per Kamiya’s request. Fans of the series should be able to tell looking at the shoulders.

One special feature that comes with the Samus suit is the ability to put the visor up or down during cut scenes. I think you’ll be surprised how fun this is. See how good it feels to slam your visor down right after telling an enemy off, or discover the amusement in endlessly going up-down-up-down during the game’s more serious moments. This can put the game’s cut scenes in whole new light!
