Here are some key points about the SOULCALIBUR V Arcade FightStick SOUL Edition:
Tago-san, the producer for SOULCALIBUR V told us at E3 2011 that he wanted a stick similar to the SSFIV Chun-Li Tournament Edition FightStick. We agreed to make something similar; but to make changes/improvements that cater to the fighting game fan and of course the SOULCALIBUR fan
That being said, the SOUL Edition has a translucent body all around with the artwork of the Soul Edge and Soul Calibur swords tying into the case design
The FightStick has a new button layout and has a button mapping that is unique to SOULCALIBUR. The new button layout and stick placement is following the NAMCO NOIR arcade panel layout; this layout is most reminiscent of the classic SEGA Astro City layout
The bezel on the SOUL Edition FightStick is what we call the “EDGE” bezel; which helps give it more of a SOULCALIBUR look & feel
The SOUL Edition uses 6 stainless steel screws; we’ve listened to your feedback and have noted that rusty screws are not appealing
There are some other tidbits here and there; but we’ll wait to reveal that as time goes on. This FightStick is slated for availability in North America, Europe and Japan.

so they will now ship to SA aswell now?
As we all eagerly await the release of Tekken Hybrid, Hori has unveiled a special arcade stick to celebrate the release of the second-most anticipated fighting game of next week. SDTekken found a listing on Amazon.co.jp for a Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue Real Arcade Pro 3.
TTT2 Prologue, which combines its powers with the original TTT in HD and the Blood Vengeance 3D movie to form the Voltron that is Tekken Hybrid, is the first taste on consoles of the long-awaited next game in the Tekken franchise. Prologue only has four available characters–and thus just six possible team combinations–but it should help tie fans over just a little bit until the full Tekken Tag Tournament 2 hits consoles in a couple years. (Well, fans with PS3s anyway.) And the re-skinned HRAP3, which ships with the Japanese release of Tekken Hybrid on December 1st, is a welcome addition.
For those who love to collect licensed arcade sticks and are willing to import, Hori has a set of new BlazBlue Continuum Shift EXTEND Real Arcade Pro.V series sticks up for pre-order on Play-Asia
Both the PS3 (HRAP.V3-SA) and XBox 360 (HRAP.VX-SA) versions will be available on December 17, 2011 -the same day the game launches. Both feature a blue case (exclusive to BlazBlue HRAPs), BlazBlue CS Extend specific art and, seeing as these are “-SA” badged sticks, Sanwa parts all around (stick and buttons).
The PS3 version is priced at $159.90, the XBox 360 version however goes for more at $179.90. Combine this with international shipping (for folks outside Hong Kong) and these sticks clearly are for serious BlazBlue fans and collectors only.
