The Last Showgirl - a bit boring but Pamela Anderson and Dave Bautista (long hair and all) give great performances as two wornout 50+ year olds.

Full Tilt Boogie - making of From Dusk till Dawn. Easy to forget this was Clooney's breakout film role (He was a big TV star at the time).

Ice Road: Vengeance - sequel no one asked for. Very meh just like the first film. Straight to streaming (Amazon).

Death of a Unicorn - fun comedy film.

Dangerous Animals - serial killer who feeds his victims to sharks. Some crap CGI here and there but otherwise a good watch.

Low budget rubbish. Got 20mins in & switched off.
No returning cast.

Not as good as the original.
First twist was meh, second twist was the one you wanted.

How to train your Dragon (2025) live action remake. OK but too long. Toothless was great.

Heads of State - lightweight fun but with some great lines here and there.

The Damned - a bit of a letdown with the ending.

Deep Cover - improv team accidentily infiltrate a gang. Fun.

The Life of Chuck - decent. Based on a non horror Stephen King book.

Thief - Michael Mann film from 1981. Kind of proto Heat. Good.

M3GAN 2.0 - decent, added a comedic element. Knight Rider theme when Megan took over the EV hypercar was a funny moment.

Freaky Tales - here is a film that comes together only in the last 20 minutes. Terrific in the end.

Sacramento - OK road trip film.

Three strange films from a tone point of view:

1) Jurassic World Rebirth - decided to retcon dinosaurs all over the world for another return to another island with yet another annoying family. Quetzalcoatlus was good, dumb mutant hybrids were just crap. T-Rex scene was truly terrifying and the highlight. Better than the last two films for what that's worth. CGI top notch.

Why do people continue to shout and scream on islands full of dinosaurs? Might as well be ringing a dinner bell.

2) Eenie Meanie - decent comedy with good driving scenes. Super dark ending though.

3) Play Dirty - Shane Black's return is just about watchable. What was with the main character? Mass murderer/serial killer in broad daylight?
