Pretty lame that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and 2 for that matter are just the switch games in a Switch 2 box with the upgrade pack. Would have been great if Nintendo released them as a proper Switch 2 release with the DLC in one complete package.

@Tea

Have you guys gotten any listing or pricing info from Nintendo for Xenoblade Chronicles 3?

I love how the RAM in PS5s is now worth more than the PS5 itself, so Sony are offering 400USD to buy it back from you.

No one cares about Sony's first party slop. So the delay means nothing

Think I saw PlayStation advertising their deals going live today, so I'm guessing PS games and peripherals will be going soon.

Sticking this in here because reasons.

So in my search for Headphones, I met with a LOT of different opinions. One person would praise a headset, and others will tear it apart. Polarizing as all get out, and makes it very difficult to get a "real" opinion.
Anyway, while I was looking at Virtual 7.1 surround systems, one reviewer just mentioned off-hand that with Razer releasing their RAZER SURROUND software, headphones with built-in virtual 7.1 chips have become obsolete.

I googled the software. It's a 2.1mb file you get from the Razer website...
Installed and was BLOWN THE HECK AWAY.

Seriously guys, this software turns ANY headset into a 7.1 system. I tried with my Analog 5.1 Tritton set, AKG earbuds, Stereo (and rubbish) Logitech Skype headphones and a pair of R20 earbuds I had Laying around. Each time I was amazed at the difference. Better and smoother Bass, better clarity, better everything. Keep in mind music is subjective, so some people might not like the presets.

BUT. The software is FREE. For $20 you can upgrade to pro, which gives you better control (or I believe Razer Headsets come with the pro version)

Of course, it only works on Pc and Mac.
If you have a moment, install this (I did it at work to) and let me know what difference it made for you.

It means you can spend money on a really good Stereo Headset, and benefit from all the 7.1 goodness of a more expensive set.

Give it a go. For free, this is seriously worth it

I used to use it when it was in beta a few years back and it was good, then I bought a proper 7.1 headset and discrete soundcard so had no use for it. For all Razer's faults (price vs performance, buggy synapse SW, style over substance in some cases) they have brought innovation and competition to the market

Oh good... Did the soundcard make a difference?
I have my eyes on a Asus Soar card, but not sure if there will be a noticeable difference on the Kraken Pro now.
Unfortunately the "specs" they post make very little difference... The card boast 110dB SnR, but my motherboard claims 112dB SnR... so, yeah. Not like there is much competition on the sound card front

To me yeah, it's not a virtual surround as I bought the Tiamat with seven drivers.

I bought the Asus Xonar. The drivers haven't been updated in ages though so check that with your sound card. A discrete sound card does take some processing strain off the MB so that's the real reason to get it. Well that and real 7.1 if you have the speakers/headphones to support it. The Kraken may not get the best use out of a discrete card so research whether that with a discrete card is worth it for the average user
