They have it listed here: https://nexushub.co.za/product/control-resonant-pid285827.html

Just keep in mind that the physical edition was delayed from Remedy's side, so releases like a month after digital.

Ironic thing. There is going to be an album for GTA6. And it will be available on both CD and Vinyl.

So clearly it's about control for Sony and Rockstar, not wanting you to own games. But you can own a CD and Vinyl. Both are crappy companies. I really want to see Sony crash and burn so hard. But the way Sony is going, it might be sooner, rather than later.

The reactions to this remind me of when metroid prime was announced.

I appreciate that Nintendo is trying to push their IP's (when in actual fact they should be making new ones or bringing back older ones) but this announcement is just... strange, all things considered.

The Musuo games are not even remotely popular outside of Asia (and even then the series is not that popular. It sells well enough in conjunction with the budget)

All this means is that the proper WiiU Zelda is another year off, which is worse news for the WiiU.

While I have never been a Zelda zealot the way I was an FF zealot, I have been a fan of the series since I was a kid.

And have to say this actually looks pretty cool. Little bit of a let down honestly as I was hoping for a brand new classic style Zelda game but honestly could be a lot worse.

I enjoy the Musuo style of games and as long as they still keep the charm of Zelda in this story wise and give us some classic zelda puzzles I think it will be a pretty fun game.

I trust Nintendo to do well be Zelda.

Completely different reasoning,

Metroid went from 2D to 3D and fans who had seen Castlevania go 3D were concerned about Metriods transition.

This is not the same situation.
Either Nintendo are taking some quality risks or (and most likely) they are abusing Zelda's status in order to push for a game that people don't want to see Link in...

Nintendo! Y U No Make new Zelda... oh that's right you wasted time redoing an old game in HD

@Posty

I think people are being a-little pessimestic with this. Look at the latest Super Mario 3D world, people were also a-bit like uuuuh when the trailer happened and ended up being one of the highest scoring games of the year.

I will wait to see more on this, if it's just a Musuo style battle system built around a classic Zelda style setting could be very interesting and a lot of fun.

Especially whent they start throwing in links other weapons and stuff. I think it's also safe to assume this will be the engine we will see the next main series game is on so I dunno think we are in for a treat honestly.

@Woofels

It's all good, im not really passing judgement just addressing the Prime reference people are making.

The trailer didn't showcase a single thing traditional in Zelda titles and even the name suggests it wont be... who knows...

Trailer didnt showcase much except link pwning a [censored] of creatures =p So there is still a whole lot more to see about this, so I'll still put my money on it being a fun a game.

It's actually quite similar, just as no one saw Metroid as an FPS title I am pretty sure a musou game would of been one of the last thing on peoples minds when someone says, what genre should the next Zelda game be? Hence the comparison to how people complained when Prime was first announced.

I want to see Link in this type of game in fact I am pretty hyped for it, but then again I can also see this as a spin-off title and not a main franchise title. While I don't think a musuo game could ever reach the status of a Prime game, if done right we could have an amazing title on our hand and a way to play other Nintendo characters like we've never played before. Not too mention we could have some great possibilities for 3rd party characters as well. After the fiasco that was the trailer for Super Mario 3D World I will wait for more info and more footage of this game, cause we all know how 3D World turned out *game of the year*

Nintendo do one HD remake, possibly the best and most polished HD remake ever and people moan. Every other developer releases a half asses HD port of their game with sub par quality and in some cases leave the cut-scenes in SD format and people eat it up for days. Gamers #retarded lol

Also maybe you arent up to date with Nintendo news but the Zelda Wii U title has been known to be in development for some time now, and has also been stated that a trailer for the game is actually ready. My thoughts are Nintendo probably holding off till E3 or something.

I enjoy the right musou games, I loved Sengoku Basara, One Piece Pirate Warriors and Fist of the North Star. However these games appeal to the fans, even though I enjoyed those games I'm not going to go out and play Gundam Musou, because Gundam has no interest to me. So if you aren't really a fan of Zelda games or the characters I wouldn't see why this game would interest you. The Asians eat these games up, they always sell well. Heck I even enjoyed Dragon Ball Z Sagas lol

This game has so much potential to be amazingly fun. If Nintendo add guest characters, offline and online co-op, challenges, exploration, open world type environments and elements from titles such as Monster Hunter it could be a great success.

For those moaning about it not being a Zelda game go play the Wind Waker HD or A Link Between Worlds. 2 Zelda releases in the span of a month is enough for anyone.

Nah it's not, they are using the Dynasty warriors engine, so it probably won't be the best looking game unless they polish it up. The Zelda Wii U game will be using it's own graphics engine.

If you really dig deep you'll find that Shigeru Miyamoto said:

"Though the entire Nintendo 64 period we were thinking of ways to produce a new Metroid title. We couldn't come up with any concrete ideas at the time"

It was only when Retro studios (Iguana Entertainment) had proven that a FPS perspective could work in the new generation of consoles that Nintendo approached them and the project went forward.

It was based on the performances of other titles in 3D based on the N64 that they decided not to make Prime on the console and shifted it across to the GC.

That is my argument, Zelda and based on the trailers showcase isn't being moved into a different direction or anything like Prime eneded up as because I didn't see traditional dungeons, boss battles or exploration (early days for sure) from the trailer.

Its more similar to the use of Ninty mascots in smash brothers than a likeness to Prime.
Just my perspective

That's fair comment,
Personally would hate for MGS to become a hack n Slash.. oh wait they did that already

DP, common man, how many times has Ninty released old Zelda titles onto new formats, the use of the term HD is being misunderstood here, call it HD remakes, ports or anything really its still a rehash or repackaging of an old title.

I have OoT on three different formats, I have Mario64 on two different formats not to mention MGS: Twin Snakes, Resident Evil 1 remake.
PS2 never saw HD ports or remakes like the GC did but now that PS3 and 360 have had HD ports doesn't erase the fact that ninty did it first

I think your looking at it from a gameplay change perspective where I am looking at it from a fan reaction perspective. While not as massive leap from 2D side scroller to FPS it is still quite a change for a Zelda franchise.

While I get what your saying I've never seen Twin Sankes or the Resident Evil 1 remake as ports, I've always seen them as superior versions of the titles, in effect remakes of the game.

For example the HD collecton of God of War, this too me is a port, there is nothing about the collection that is superior to the old one, nothing added either. Same with Devil May Cry collection. I can only use these examples as the are the only one's I own. None of these bring anything different to the table. If you sat someone in front of a PS2 and said here playing Devil May Cry 3, when they finished it, put them in front of a PS3 and say here finish Devil May Cry 3, the experience will be the same. Now do the same with Resident Evil, put them in front of a PS1 and say here play this. When done put them in front of a Gamecube and say here play the Resident Evil Remake, the difference is night and day.

Also the gamecube had no games lol so it needed the help.

I can see where you're coming from regarding the games as the superior versions but the argument can favour both sides but lets not derail the thread, could argue for hours on whether or not updates are better than the original

i think this is a given. Nintendo is not developing this Musou title (as some ppl seem to think they are). it is entirely TK with Nintendo publishing. The proper Zelda will most definitely have its own engine and be nothing like this.

I remember Nintendo saying how they had more difficulty than they expected with the jump to HD and games getting delayed etc. I have a feeling that Zelda is one of those games which could explain why Nintendo went for this deal. They get a Zelda game out and it will not cost them a lot because quite honestly this game looks like DW just with a Zelda skin. Its hardly a financial risk for anyone.
