Pretty lame that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and 2 for that matter are just the switch games in a Switch 2 box with the upgrade pack. Would have been great if Nintendo released them as a proper Switch 2 release with the DLC in one complete package.

I love how the RAM in PS5s is now worth more than the PS5 itself, so Sony are offering 400USD to buy it back from you.

No one cares about Sony's first party slop. So the delay means nothing

Think I saw PlayStation advertising their deals going live today, so I'm guessing PS games and peripherals will be going soon.

I've avoided most things about this game since I've always written off Rockstar published/developed games after being very disappointed with the last GTA and San Andreas.

I might just have to change my mind to just avoiding GTA titles. Then again, I need some actual game time.

In any case, watched a few videos now (with peaked interest since released is around the corner), and was quite blown away. Gameplay looks good, characters look interesting, and those facial animations? Wow, it just looks insanely good.

The setting helps as well, big part of why I hated GTA was I never liked the gangster approach. We'll see, needs a hands on to actually decide, I've been duped before.

Think of it as GTA meets CSI in the 1940s.

The PS3 version is the best, for a change! It looks a little bit better, plus it only uses one disc. Where as the Xbox360 one uses 3 discs! Plus plus the PS3 includes an exclusive downloadable case!

Reports are that 3.61 is an issue and that various games, not just Noire, are resulting in overheating PS3s. Anyone experience this as I have yet to log in to do the update.

I get my updates off the game discs. They say older models are affected, does this mean the slims are safe?

@KF that seems to be the implication. I am not too worried as according to the article 3.62 is going to be released this weekend so that might fix the problem.

Two and a Half Men easter egg in L.A.Noire!
"The actor who plays Alan Harper on Two and a Half Men (Jon Cryer) has a little cameo in LA Noire where he dresses and acts very similar to his comedy TV show persona."
Now thats cool

Seriously enjoying this game. Had too many titles to play over the initial launch period of LA Noire but I must say that even by today's standard this game is amazing!

Firstly, for GTA fans out there, this is not a run and gun, chaos causing shooter but really an enthralling story about a young, post war veteran, that joins the police force to prove their can still be justice in the world.

Cole Phelps, the lead character starts as a normal patrol cop and quickly ascends through the hierarchy of positions in the LA Police force. While I'm about halfway through the game it seems (currently in the VICE narcotics squad) the story progression, the underlying current of corruption and deceit and most definitely the incredibly believable facial capture technology used in the game makes this rival some of the best Cop/ detective shows.

As you progress through the various roles in the police force the game teaches you how to read facial signs or nervous ticks, that could indicate lies or a half truth forcing the player to handle the situations with almost a gut feel to pressure the suspects for more information that will lead to a decent lead or conviction.

I think the homicide missions, of all the chapters (crime scenes) so far, literally blew me away. You have to think, understand suspects the motive, the partners in crime, find and analyze all the clues at the murder scene and scout the suspect's various locations, with often frustrating dead ends if not followed correctly.

Being promoted from homicide, especially in terms of the outcome, leaves you with a bitter sweet feeling of both accomplishment and regret as that part of Cole's story was dark, intelligent and opened possible ulterior motives of the higher ups in the police force. Excellent writing and character development.

Anybody wanting a break from the normal gaming genre's out at the moment and doesn't mind a slow to progress but incredibly intriguing story, should get their hands on this and give LA Noire a serious chance to tell you it's story. You will not be dissapointed by its incredible production value !bm

I am genuinely upset with myself for not trying to play LA Noire sooner!
